Some things are better late than never.
It’s another soft lineup of releases on the eShop in Japan this week, however, there are still some quality titles to help round things out. One of the most curious games on the list comes in the form of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed for Wii U, a game that saw its initial release in November 2012 in western territories. With Mario Kart 8 on the horizon, perhaps getting this game out beforehand was the goal even though it is positioned so closely to Nintendo’s racer. We’ll see if the price does it any favors!
On the Virtual Console front, the Wii U has a solid variety of titles. Mega Man 6 arrives this week on Wii U alongside the adventure staring anthropomorphic fruit and vegetables, Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom. The Game Boy Advance is also making a return this week with the release of the 2003 Fire Emblem, the seventh entry in the series in Japan and the first to be available in the West.
