A Miyamoto handheld title, Puyo Puyo, and some Pokémon love are all included in this week's eShop update in Japan.

Even with a recent Nintendo Direct, Nintendo has still given players some Nintendo 3DS content to care about. Here’s a look at everything that hit the eShop this week:

3DS Downloadable Titles
Puyo Puyo Mini Version – 300 yen
Pokémon Fushigi no Dungeon: Maguna gate to Mugendai Meikyu DEMO (Pokémon Mystery Dunegon) – FREE

Virtual Console
Mogurānya (Game Boy, Mole Mania) – 400 yen

Downloadable Retail Titles
Tobidase Dōbutsu no Mori (Animal Crossing: New Leaf) – 4,800 yen

Video Content

A handful of first-party titles appeared in video form this week on the eShop. First up is a new commercial for Animal Crossing: New Leaf, which, again, really shows how Nintendo is pushing the digital version of the game.

Next up are five different videos for the upcoming Pokémon Mystery Dungeon for 3DS. Two of the videos are short animated sequences about the game starring Pikachu and Oshawott as they discover more about the Magna Gate, a special gate that takes players to mysterious dungeons. There was also a preview video, new commercials, and an interesting video starring some young kids playing the game.

As I mentioned above, one of the big facets of the latest game in this series is the Magna Gate. Players can access this gate by finding any round object with their 3DS camera. Once spotted, the players are able to play through a dungeon. With the camera usage, I think about games like The Denpa Men and how you could find new Denpa Men for your party by visiting a new Wi-Fi area. Well, obviously, if you don’t have access to multiple Wi-Fi areas with your 3DS (believe me, in Japan, the only place I can connect is at my own place) then you can’t take advantage of all that game has to offer. Finding a round object is a heck of a lot easier! It’s smart and easy!

As many of you know, a Nintendo Direct took place this evening (morning in North America) that will be giving details about MiiVerse on the Wii U. I would bet my digital copy of Donkey Kong: Original Edition that the video will be available on the eShop shortly afterward.
