Throw him into the water..
After I had completed Super Mario Sunshine, but before the horrifically addictive Animal Crossing was released, I found myself wanting to go back to some "old" games, and Pikmin was the first one I put into the system. Having never actually beaten the game, thanks to my 'I can do a bit better than that, better reset' mantra, I found myself enjoying the game much more than I had anticipated.
I never really appreciated listening to a uniquely mellow guitar strum while watching dozens of little alien creatures weave between plants gleaming a white haze much when I first got the title. It's nice to pick up old games and discover enjoyment in them that wasn't originally apparent.
