"Whilst it had a rather sharp tail at full price, they do bubble away at a lower price point for a long time. You get your money back and a bit on full price, but over the years, if we do the final product return on investment, profits come from the lower price point."
While MadWorld wasn't a commercial success for Sega, Dunn stated that they were happy to take the risk, and that Sega has the budget and resources to invest in publishing and/or developing more mature titles for Wii in the future. The company is currently looking for a new game in which to invest.
HotD:O has a good amount replay value heck all light gun games do.
So does this mean they'll publish HVS other two titles then?
With all the money Sega has gotten from Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games (and the money they'll get from the sequel) I'm sure they can risk taking plenty of chances on games like these.
I was watching Aaron's direct feed footage of The Grinder yesterday (it's on our Youtube channel, look for it!) and easily noticed several improvements over The Conduit. Sega would be sharp to bid for that one, especially if it has a strong single-player campaign in addition to the local and online multiplayer.

I don't think we will have everyone calling The Grinder generic. What game do you get so many demented creatures in one? lol Zombies, Warewolfs, Vampires, and more!! lol It does look awesome!
No, it's a platformer.

People won't call the Grinder generic. They'll call it a blatant rip-off of Left for Dead for an audience that otherwise won't have played that game.
whats that game sk was working on with sega?

I assume you mean Silicon Knights, if so they are working on The Crucible with Sega.
The Grinder for sure because it will be to Conduit what Parfet Dark was to Goldeneye I predict.

Apart from them being nothing alike. As far as we know, the Grinder won't have any multiplayer apart from co-op.
IGN has been throwing around a rumor that SK is working on a new Psychological Thriller for Nintendo. There is a game entry for it and everything. So Matt switched from Kid Icarus to Eternal Darkness now?
their Kid Icarus thing was overexaggerated and blown out of proportion.
I thought it was accepted that they were talking about the Factor 5 pitch to Nintendo that never even started development of any kind. Never got past the concept art that was leaked.

I remember Cryak saying that he wanted to do a sequel to ED, but that project would have to wait.
We know he planned on finishing Too Human, which looks like a case of boiling the stew for far too long, and that he had another project on the back burner(some deal with Sega), but I do remember him saying something about a sequel to ED.

I think that argument would be funny considering Valve is already making a sequel for L4D that comes out next year.

I hope so, the Wiimote opens up so many new ways to design a sequel.
BnM, was cryak a direct reference to his stunt on NeoGaf or his speech/lecture he game on 1Up Yours defending the game before it came out?

Oh his infamous NeoGaf battle, I will say I ended up liking him MORE after that! Classic stuff. I still feel some reviewers let their feelings about his defense of the game skew their scores. Too Human was a slightly above average game with flaws IMO

I'm hoping for Eternal Darkness 2. Or even a "Book of Lost Chapters" that tells other stories in a behind the scenes look from other perspectives.
They might be too busy remaking MGS2. :P

Is it sad I would buy that if it came to Wii?
I loved Twin Snakes dearly and have yet to grab the PS2 MGS collection.

How about a MGS2, Eternal Darkness crossover? ::head explodes::

I'd buy that just to see Snake's head get blown up by Xelloloth.
