WHERE THE HELL IS PALE!?!

We need some clarification here, even though I think he deliberately made up this stupid rule to keep from ever really changing this stupid name. I admit, when i skimmed the thread and saw the 22nd as the date it needed to be bumped, i ended up throwing us off because of the "latest post" rule. So we broke it for last month (GO ME!) but the LATEST POST in that thread was the 23rd. Back then we agreed we'd have to wait til July 23rd to bump this thread and get a new name, but we got some people saying no? BS

Change the name already, even if its gonna have Bills name in it again. I like BnM's reasoning (because I'm tired of the "moaning") but technically, because he's not band he's still a member, just inactive.

LOL i was right, this is just some stupidly complicated rule put in place in order to confuse the forum members that will try and bump this, but fail just so Pale doesn't have to lift a finger. In one month, down to the hour, someone will bump this thread and we still won't get a title change because they were off by a few seconds

I don't understand what you are saying there.

I read what you wrote as saying that if the first person to bump after a month suggests a title that breaks the rules, the next person to post can pick a title.

My point is that is only true if the next person to post is more than a month later again, as the person that suggested an incorrect title reset the "most recent post" rule.

1.) Thread must not be bumped until atleast 1 month (down to the second) or later of the last post in the thread.
2.) A valid suggestion must be made with the initial bump, otherwise see rule #1
3.) If you are to name the Funhouse after a forum member, they must be an active member of the community (preferably someone that actually post in the Funhouse)
4.) You cannot suggest your own name in the name change

I already suggested "Pale's Not-so Funhouse" and it follows the format perfectly (even if it is a boring format).

I was right though, rules are in place so that someone can easily fudge it up and he'll never have to change the title.

The last post could be 7/27/09 @ 12:01:01, the next could be 8/27/09 @ 12:01:02 and would be deemed a failed effort :P

Those are the emoticons I was hoping to trigger, and my fellow Funhausers have not disappointed.

As they say, you go for it all, but if they give you 80% you take it, then try for the other 20% later. Well, yesterday we have obtained less than 20%, and I'm not sure what went wrong, but tomorrow I hope we can fight for the remaining 80 something percent together. Such as the Impending fight for Bot Rights, the ressurection of the Old Thread Restoration Project and lets not forget the great push for the return of the Funhouse Banners program. I was gonna propose a 90 day limit. if a new name doesn't fall within the rules within the 90 day mark, then the name reverts back to the default "The Funhouse".
But your new rule suggestion doesn't work, since the current name holder would be ineligible to suggest a new name, even though they weren't the last one to suggest the current name.
