Title: Metroid Prime Remaster Available Now

The Citizen Kane of games is on Switch - today.

A remastered version of Metroid Prime was revealed in today's Nintendo Direct, and it will be available just after the end of the presentation. The physical version of the game will be available on February 22 (two weeks from the digital release).

Among the elements of the remaster is a new dual analog control scheme.

The game is priced at US$39.99/C$49.99 or equivalent.

I don’t need this.

I’m probably going to buy it anyway.

I was hoping there would be more bonuses/changes. Faster scanning like Metroid Prime 3, maybe a redesigned Phazon Suit, a new boss, a reworking of that pacing-halting fetch quest toward the end etc.

I'm kind of surprised Nintendo is only charging $40 for it.  They released Skyward Sword HD for $60 and that game didn't have the graphical enhancements this one does. 

Well no one can say Nintendo isn't trying to make Metroid more popular.  A remaster of one of the high rated games of all time, with better graphical enhancements then most other remasters have gotten, being sold at a lower price kind of shows Nintendo is really trying to get more people to give this game a shot.

Will wait for a physical version of this.

Watching streams, the game looks darker than original -- i kinda hate it because i disliked dark areas in original.
