And support for... the Ring Fit Adventure leg strap.

The Switch is getting sporty in spring.

Nintendo Switch Sports has been revealed and will be released on April 29. Six sports will be included at launch: returning sports bowling, tennis, and swordplay (known as "chambara" and featured in Wii Sports Resort), plus soccer, volleyball, and badminton. An update in the fall will add the returning golf as well.

As with the original Wii Sports, all games will feature motion control support. The Leg Strap accessory (as in Ring Fit Adventure) will be used for soccer games.

Online play with both friends and randoms will be available; an online test will be available for Switch Online subscribers on the weekend of February 18.

This is interesting because I finally started Wii Sports Club about a month ago and it is really good. The motion controls on Sports Club feel more accurate to me than any Switch motion controls, except maybe Arms. The new sports are interesting picks and I am glad they kept Tennis and Golf, my favorites.

I was a bit surprised to see a return of Wii Sports after all this time! I'm curious how well this game will fare in the current climate. For me personally, since I still have a Wii I feel I'm already set for motion control games; I haven't even played Wii Sports Resort yet!

Same, that is in my backlog. I think that one uses Wii Motion Plus too, which means it should control really well. Wii Sports Club controls really well and has HD graphics. By the time I get through those too it will be time for the next game in the series.
