Who says 60 plus fighters is enough?

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is going to be one hell of a game considering it will include over 65 playable characters, depending on how you count them. Bringing back every past fighter and injecting some new ones is already a monumental task.

That said, we all know that nothing will satisfy the cravings of Super Smash Bros. fans. More characters will undoubtedly be added to the game, even if only through DLC. That’s why I’ve come up with this list of my personal Top 20 Characters that I want to see playable in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

I dunno about "deserving" but I like the obscurity of a lot of these choices, hee hee.

Dixie Kong is my top choice, followed by Spring Man.  Isaac from Golden Sun could use some love too.  I don't really see why people think Waluigi deserves to be a full-fledged fighter...

Great article, Justin. You mentioned some characters I'd never even heard of before, so it was informative as well as fun.

Just to throw out characters that would be great to see but have no chance of showing up:
Captain Rainbow,
Wart from Super Mario Bros. 2,
one of the cars from Stunt Race FX,
the three boys from Marvelous: Another Treasure Island (they could be used a s a team like Pokemon Trainer of Ice Climbers),
the Gerudo Warrior from Ocarina of Time,
Chibi Robo,
Pokemon TCG player (the damage you deal will depend on what Pokemon card you throw!),
Starfy,
Stanley from Donkey Kong 3.

Wouldn't mind seeing an Urban Champ stage if we can't get a fighter.

Wanna see another Pokemon trainer myself. Like Rival countering the original with Bulbasaur/Charmeleon/Blastoise or a trainer from later games using 3 newer Pokemon.

So three of the twenty have made it so far. Truly, Justin has a list and he's checking it twice. :)
