After 17 years, we've finally sold out - to you.
Starting today, Nintendo World Report has launched crowdfunding through Patreon. For as little as $1 a month, you can see exclusive Nintendo World Report content, as well as have influence on the site at higher tiers.
Depending on your generosity, we may be able to produce exclusive podcasts, bring back classic NWR content such as Patreon-backed developer interviews and magazines, and even eliminate all advertising from the website.
Thank you so much for your support, and let's make Nintendo World Report better than it's ever been!
There's too much other stuff these days demanding my money for me to fund this (and honestly, I'm tired of stuff going to Patreon in general), but I wish the site well if this is the only way it can survive these days.

Some people do better stuff with it than others. I am not a big fan of locking good stuff behind it. Pat the NES Punk has a bi-weekly podcast called the Completely Unnecessary Podcast, Patreon supports get a video version of it (though he posts clips on YouTube) and gets the podcast a day earlier. That is a good use.
How much for The Funhouse?
I feel I might be able to buy that forum property pretty cheaply thanks to the residents living in it.
It's a shame that Broodwars doesn't consider the site worth supporting at all, but everyone has to make their own choices about where to spend their limited resources.

Just not enough money to go around, man. Just had to drop $530 on a car repair a few weeks ago. I wouldn't rule it out in the future, but right now I don't really have expendable income to throw at sites like this.
