So.. someone who's bit on StreetPass Plaza Premium.  What the heck does it actually do to make it worth $5?

Does this mean there are new hats for the new Streetpass games?

Fun fact: a few days ago I was thinking about buying Etrian Odyssey Untold, and then I thought no, I'll be able to get it for half that price at some point within two weeks.

From the Nintendo Direct, doesn't VIP Premium only let you collect birthdays of Miis and select favorites? Hardly worth $5, I wouldn't even pay $0.99 for that.

Can someone who gets DK64 see if they replaced JetPac in it?

I'm working my way through the game right now to see that myself. It's in World 4 and I just unlocked World 3. Unfortunately, World 3 is the obligatory water level so this'll take a while.

Yep, I just confirmed it myself: Jetpac's still in there:

This could potentially open the door to some interesting possibilities for other old Rare games in the future, considering Nintendo would have had to re-license Jetpac for this release.

I don't think Broodwars is actually playing the game. The 3rd world is the Factory world and World 4 is the Gloomy Galleon world. Something's not right here.

I hadn't played the game in 15 years. I didn't notice until I got my 1st Gloomy Galleon blueprint that it was the 4th world. 3 & 4 unlock at the same time, so I double backed to 3.

So.. someone who's bit on StreetPass Plaza Premium.  What the heck does it actually do to make it worth $5?

From the Nintendo press release on its website:

"Separately, if you purchase the StreetPass Mii Plaza upgrade, you’ll also gain access to the VIP Room, where you can permanently store 100 Mii™ characters you’ve encountered. In addition, unlock StreetPass Birthdays, which lets you celebrate the real people behind all of those wonderfull Mii characters you’ve met. On top of that, the new Music Player lets you groove to the StreetPass Mii Plaza soundtrack when the system is in Sleep Mode, and even set certain tracks as your main plaza music. "

-Keep 100 Mii characters
-Streetpass Birthday (whatever that is about)
-Listen to Streetpass music in sleep mode.
-Customize music in Streetpass a bit more.

I'll just stick with the games, thank you.

Loads of tickets, you say?

As well, you can also reduce the time spent when meeting the Mii's at your plaza gate from streetpassing.

That has me interested now.

Plus why is DK 64 a bad game? hm?
is it because it's like Banjo-kazoie which was a "collectathon" the game's built ariound it so why is it a bad thing.
HANDS DOWN RAREWARE (old rareware not the horrriblr nuts&bolts crew) IS BEST GAME COMPANY
DK Country games
Banjo
Killer Instinct
Diddy kong racing
GOLDENEYE 007!
AND one of my fav games of all time:
Conker's bad fur day.
Please don't dis something you obviously don't like as rare used to be the (the pun intended) the Rarest game company ever.
So many good games, in such a short time.
It was only when the evil Microsoft brought is when they turned horrible.
So again please Shaymin don't destroy my favourite game company.
