Out of the indie developers listed above, which is your favorite?

I was looking for 5th Cell. T_T <3 Lock's Quest.
But if I'm forced to choose, I'd have to settle on Shin'en. WayForward has some serious cache with Nintendo fans, but Shin'en just sort of keeps delivering and is under-appreciated for it.

WayForward by a mile. Surprised Nintendo hasn't snapped them up yet.

I went with WayForward. I didn't enjoy their A Boy & His Blob Wii title as much as a lot of other people here did, but I really enjoyed their 2D Bloodrayne game on PSN/XBLA. I also just find that their games tend to have more and better content than those made by the other developers on that list. I enjoyed Gaijin Games' Bit.Trip series, but I'd really like to see their talent put to something other than retro-oriented rhythm games.

WayForward games consistently look great, but they almost always disappoint when it comes to gameplay. That's disappointing, because if they could ever match up solid gameplay with the gorgeous graphics usually found in their games then they would get my vote for sure. As it stands now their list of releases has far more "misses" than "hits" for me.
Gaijin Games have been rock solid, but that is partly due to having a very limited oeuvre to choose from. The Bit.Trip series is an excellent set of games that accomplish exactly what they set out to do, and make me excited to see what other ideas the studio has for the future. Probably my favorite chioce based on what is released right now, and good enough to get my vote.
Renegade Kid excites me the most, and I'm really eager to see what new games and ideas they bring to the table. I'm not sure there is anything from them that I really love at the moment... but I have a lot of respect for Moon and Mutant Mudds. Am I just buying into the hype here?
Nicalis definitely wins the award for coolest website (www.nicalis.com) and has published games that I REALLY enjoy with VVVVVV and Cave Story. I would like to see more before voting for them though. Night Sky and La Mulana (if it ever arrives) might be enough? It would be nice if they did more than porting hit indie PC games... although giving awesome games access to brand new audiences isn't a bad thing.

n-Space doesn't normally develop their own indie titles. They typically make stuff for bigger 3rd-party companies (Call of Duty on DS being the biggest example).

I'm still waiting for 5th Cell!

Last I heard, 5th Cell has been focusing their development on iOS. They haven't made a game primarily for Nintendo platforms in a while. Super Scribblenauts was their last big game, right?

Correct. They have released 2 games since then: Scribblenauts Remix and Run Roo Run, both for iOS. This summer they will release a Xbox Live Arcade games called Hybrid.
