Title: I am a lonely soul on this lonely sea of internet.
Post by: Maverick on July 08, 2008, 05:11:27 PM
I just kicked my girlfriend out of my house. So I guess we're broken up now. To celebrate I signed up at eHarmony. To my shock and dismay I found I that I had not one single match.

Not a single "I am sorry for your loss."? Pfft, see if I ever make a stealth-emo thread here again, jackasses.

It's you who walked in here dressed as a bulls-eye.

I'm just kidding. I know you all don't give a rats ass about my personal life, nor do I any of yours. The internet is for pornography, game related news, and spouting off clever one-liners in response to legitimate attempts at knowledgeable debate.

If Maverick is a geek/nerd lover I'm certain there is at least one geek/nerd matchmaking site out there on the World Wide Web. Good luck.

I hear there's a show on the MTV about dating mothers, if you're in to chubby, potentially unattractive milfs.

There's a few folks I wish to consider 'friends'. Maybe I'm alone in this. Maybe it explains the weird itch I've had since returning from Uncle Bob's neck of the woods.

It was Pale who dropped the C, not the K. He has since corrected his mistake, for fear of retaliation great justice.

I still regard the "nerdy but still attractive" girl as a fabricated myth sewn by nerds to spread a sense of failure for those who have not found a woman who holds the same interests as us. They don't exist, there is no way in hell there are girls out there who play video games and watch Sci-Fi/Action movies almost exclusively, while listening to Rock music. There's just no way in hell.

I did say "good luck" didn't I? lol. Maybe you're just livin' in the wrong country.

Let's face it. The real mistake was allowing Maverick to post on these forums.
Let's get to the root of the problem instead of cutting off one of the branches.

I know someone who left his wife to shack up with someone he met on WoW. True story.
Now my brother in law is shacking up with his ex. Weird. And they met online but not through WoW. I could almost see the back of my head when I realized how small the world can be.

You sure it's the size of the world, or are you all just "keepin' it in the family"?
