We celebrate our 100th outing by recording an episode longer than the previous 99 shows combined. Starring: Old friends, your emails, and funny memories!

Caution: Extreme Length. Listener discretion is advised.
Can you handle three and a half hours of RFN ecstasy? I think you can. (Don't be afraid to listen in two or three chunks! That's how it was recorded.) Our giant anniversary show brings together the new crew, the old crew, the pirates, and highlights from the last two years.
Greg, Lindy, James, and Jonny start the show with New Business and a heaping ton of listener mail. Then, you'll get a dose of the old gang as Karl, Mike, Evan, and Jonny (who was a semi-regular before becoming host) talk about what they are playing and reminisce on the origins and evolution of the podcast.
Unfortunately, Stan couldn't join us, but he and Karl did spend last weekend recording a set of skits in which Sweet Pete and his first mate, Blue Balls, travel through time to visit three different eras of Radio Free Nintendo.
Finally, the show swings back to the current lineup for closing comments and a lead-in to the long-awaited highlight reel. Relive the funniest moments from nearly two years of talking out of our asses!
Thanks to our special guests: Mike Sklens, Evan Burchfield, Karl Castaneda, and Stan Ferguson. We also want to thank all of our listeners for sticking with us for this long and for enduring this indulgent 100th episode. Please let us know what you think of it -- either via email or a post in Talkback!

I haven't played Smash in over a month as well, nice to know I'm not the only one not obsessed w/ it. Been playing Mario Kart and Geometry Wars instead.
Thanks for mentioning me Evan! Guess I was forgettable!
I love this show, but I am so looking forward to a week off.

I like the way in Evan's talk about meeting Bloodworth, I was just the "short guy in the bucket hat" even though I'm 6'2"...

Oh man, me too. Tee hee.
Finally finished it in the car today. (Yeah, I drove a lot today.) Awesome episode guys...I feel bad for not listening more frequently during the "first season" now. Mad props to James for all the editing--especially with tracking down the various show highlights!
Listening to the episode. I'd like you all to know I took a nine year old iMac that someone gave me, upgraded the RAM, and installed a newer version of Mac OS JUST so I could subscribe to RFN on iTunes. I'll have to do a review now too.
You do know that there's a PC version of iTunes, right? This rigmarole makes no sense unless you are running Linux exclusively.
I don't know what deal you guys have with him

No deal... he is my friend and gave permission to use the music. I'm really glad that you like it, and I'll let him know that the podcast promotion is working. :-)
I'm re-listening to this episode again (because it's boring during downtime here at work)and i have to say that Subspace Emissary doesn't suck. You play it once and you forget about it. It's like the piece of gum that you are chewing while holding a chocolate bar: once you take it out of your mouth, don't bother chewing on it again because it won't taste as great. Besides, i think SSE is meant for people who do not want to play a 100 multiplayer games just to unlock a character or something like DDRMax for PS2. I'd rather just play through SSE to get the majority of characters and then jump into the net and play other people. My connection has been consistently decent and playable despite the fact that i have 3 computers and 2 game systems connected at all times.
I bought this game on day one, and still haven't brought myself to finish SSE. It just feels like a chore. I long, arduous, and unnecessary chore. Each time I think about finishing it off, there's always something better to do, like washing the dishes.
