Not in the dark.
Or with a spark.
Or as a ball.
Or in a hall.
I will not hunt them in a town,
I will not hunt them for the crown.
I will not hunt them on a bird.
I will not hunt them in my herd.
I will not hunt them as a dog.
I will not hunt them in the fog.

I do not like Light Tears and Phans!
I do not like them Link-I-Am!

This week we start the show off with a 30 minute dive into the 15 minute Super Mario Maker 2 Nintendo Direct. Following that, we have a nearly two-and-a-half-hour RetroActive on The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. We talk about everything. Some of it even in rhyme.

Thanks to everyone who has participated. Democracy failed RetroActive again. This is your fault.

You can apologize by sending us an email.

This episode was edited by James Jones. The "Men of Leisure" theme song was produced exclusively for Radio Free Nintendo by Perry Burkum. Hear more at Perry's SoundCloud. The Radio Free Nintendo logo was produced by Connor Strickland. See more of his work at his website.

This episode contains music from The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. The entire playlist is here. Songs used: Opening, In the Fields, Overworld Adventure, Goron Village, Link and Zelda's Duet, Got the Lokomo Sword!, Final Battle: Malladus, and Credits (among others). *starts episode* I see Guillaume forgot about the special Retroactive theme again.

I actually edited it (forgot to update the credits). I don't know if I have the alternate theme.

So I think the dungeons in this game were pretty good - maybe a bit too straightforward for my liking, but still pretty solid across the board.  However, I think the Sand Temple was a stand-out and really enjoyed it.  Keep going - you are in for a treat!

The story behind the train is allegedly that Aonuma's kid liked trains so he forced trains into Zelda. When players tried to just speed through the train parts Aonuma made the train slower to force people to appreciate it.

Yeah, reeeeaaaal fun to be on a train, play a game to pass the time while it goes somewhere and have your game make you wait for your train to go somewhere...

Now I wonder if there's a ROM hack that replaces the train with instant teleportation and how that changes the way players approach the game...

Don't look at me. I voted for Crystalis.

Good pod, crew!
