Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story Gameplay Videos Revealed DS

Nintendo has revealed two new videos detailing gameplay as both Bowser and the Italian brothers.

Nintendo has just revealed two brand new gameplay videos from the upcoming Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. The title is the third in the Mario & Luigi handheld RPG series.

Players will control both Mario and Luigi as in past titles from within Bowser. Bowser will also be a playable character and players will have the ability to switch between each of the characters and their stories at will.

If the upcoming selection of big Wii titles for 2009 seems slim, prepare for it to get even slimmer. Ubisoft has just announced the delay of Red Steel 2. The sequel to their launch title Red Steel, Red Steel 2 had hopes of slicing and shooting its way to Wii owners during the third fiscal quarter of 2009, but ended up being pushed into the fourth - ultimately giving it a 2010 release.


Japan Gets New Club Nintendo Rewards

Nintendo has unveiled eight new items for their Club Nintendo rewards program in Japan.

Recently, Nintendo added eight new rewards to their Club Nintendo program in Japan. The items feature designs of various Nintendo characters, and are similar to other promotional rewards that Nintendo has released in the past.

The first item is the Kirby Flying Disc, which is made out of nylon and sponge and has Kirby's face prominently displayed. Safe for gamers of all ages, the disc is available for 350 Club Nintendo points.


La-Mulana Officially Confirmed for WiiWare Wii

Electronic Arts has announced that they have partnered up with Image Comics in the creation of a comic book based on the next game in the Dead Space saga, Extraction. . SouthPeak Games has announced that they will be publishing Music, an educational music title, headlined by renowned composer and author of “Anybody Can Read Music,” Shiro Tsuji. Music will feature an encyclopedia with over 400 musical terms, mini-games, and a variety of lessons and musical quizzes.


Mega Man Battle Network Remake Announced for DS DS

The first game in the Battle Network will be reborn on the DS.

In celebration of Mega Man’s upcoming 25th anniversary, Capcom will remake the first game in the Mega Man Battle Network series, known as Rockman EXE in Japan. The remake will be titled “Rockman EXE: Operate Shooting Star.”. According to series producer Ken Horinouchi, it will be the first game in the Battle Network franchise since the series ended 3 years ago.


Independent Developers Nicalis and Nigoro Form a Partnership Wii

The developers behind Cave Story and La Mulana create a co-development and publishing partnership.

Recently, Nicalis and Nigoro confirmed that they have forged a co-development and publishing partnership. This deal allows games from both companies to be published and distributed in North America, Japan, and Europe.

Currently, Nicalis is developing Cave Story and Night Game for WiiWare, while Nigoro is responsible for independent games such as Rose & Camellia, Miracle Witch, and La Mulana.

Tales of Monkey Island Will Hit WiiWare Next Monday Wii

Players won’t have to wait long to experience Guybrush’s newest adventure.

TellTale Games confirmed through their official blog that the first episode of Tales of Monkey Island, titled “Launch of the Screaming Narwhal”, will hit the WiiWare service on July 27 at 1,000 Nintendo Points ($10).

No date has been set for the European release, but TellTale Games promises to have information very soon


Wii Fit Plus Receives Budget Price in Japan Wii

Japanese players won't have to pay much for the title.

Japanese retailers have begun accepting pre-orders for Wii Fit Plus, offering two versions of the title.

The Balance Board Bundle will set players back 9,800 Yen (approximately $105). The stand alone version, however, will cost 2,200 Yen (approximately $22), which makes the release one of the few times Nintendo has priced a new title that cheap.
