Games for Nintendo systems have shown up in another Humble Bundle.

Nine Nintendo-system games are available through Humble Bundle, a digital storefront and charity fundraiser. The bundle is available in North America and Europe.

There are three tiers:

Pay $1 or more

Pay $13 or more

Pay "more than the average" (currently $9.20)

Payment can be split between the developers and two charities: SOS Children's Villages and Code.org. This is the second time eShop games have been included in a Humble Bundle.

Please ignore the news tip I sent in. Posted this early on the forums, but didn't see this news post until now.
Glad Europe is now part of the fun.

I'm in.  Good set of games.  Rhythm Thief is one I've wanted to play, but never got around to.

ejamerApril 26, 2016

Nice!  That's a very solid list of games - Affordable Space Adventures, Shantae, and Freedom Planet were all on my wishlist.

I've also wanted to try Rhythm Thief but retail copies disappeared before I bought in.  Even though I prefer physical, it's hard to refuse digital when it's part of a fantastic deal like this.

Which version of Citizens of Earth is superior? I seem to recall hearing problems about one of the versions and can't remember which one. Have to make the choice between Wii U and 3DS

JRokujuushiApril 26, 2016

Going by this site's review, the Wii U version had some game breaking bugs.

Said review also says it would be updated once the problem had been fixed, but it's been over a year without being updated.  However, other sites seem to have reported that a patch has been released to fix the issues.

ejamerApril 26, 2016

Oooh... I did a quick search about which version was better, but couldn't find anything so pick Wii U.
Fingers crossed it's not broken.

Are there any major differences between Shantae on the Wii U and Shantae on the 3DS?  If not, I'm thinking of giving one code to a friend.

Do you prefer your fanservice in HD or 3D? That's pretty much it.

Yeah, there was a patch that cut the load times in half and seemed to fix most of the hard lock bugs.

Thanks.  I guess I have a more general question too: Is it worth playing the original Shantae, or should I skip ahead to the Shantae 2 Director's Cut that came out recently?  Will I miss much in terms of story?

This one is available in Australia, so I got it. I had never bought one of these bundles before.

I was mainly interested in Shantae and Affordable Space Adventures. I already own Street Fighter, Darksiders and Freedom Planet. Im not interested in the other games.

ShyGuyApril 26, 2016

Nice to have another one of these! You'd be crazy not to go for it.

ejamerApril 26, 2016

Freedom Planet is so good.  (You know, based on the 30 minutes that I played... not really a fair sample, but it starts out good at least.)  Same goes for Shantae.

Haven't had time to try the others, but am looking forward to it.

What a crazy deal.

My dang 3DS SD card was full!

PhilPhillip Stortzum, April 26, 2016

Yeah, I had to delete about 8,000 blocks worth of games (to be fair, many I didn't plan on playing and many were 1,000-2,000 blocks anyway) to fit Rhythm Thief on mine.

WahApril 26, 2016

I have 90% of these games.

Brought Street fighter for $5 on sale at EB.

EnnerApril 27, 2016

Sure, I'll spend $13 to try out that Street Fighter 3DS game.

azekeApril 27, 2016

I love humble bundles.

My steam library is full of games i got for free from kind people posting spare codes on 4han.

That's how i got Freedom Planet.

I actually wanted Shantae for 3DS, but i wiil wait until they reveal full list of games should i bother with BTA tier or just go with just 1$.

MrPandaApril 27, 2016

I loved the Humble Bundle last year, and I'm glad it's continuing this year with a great set of games. I've always wanted to play Freedom Planet and Affordable Space Adventures. Although I've played Shantae and Retro City Rampage, it's nice to have a portable version for replay. And adding an old retail game like Rhythm Thief is icing on the cake! It's actually pretty fun so far, so I'm glad more people will be able to experience this!
