Today, Majesco officially announced Data East Arcade Classics for Wii. The compilation includes 15 arcade games that were originally released by Data East. Some of the games that will be included in the compilation are Bad Dudes vs. Dragon Ninja, Burger Time, Peter Pepper's Ice Cream Factory, Burnin' Rubber, Heavy Barrel, Caveman Ninja, Magical Drop III, and Side Pocket. Each game on the compilation will include 2-player multiplayer and can be played with either the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, Classic Controller, or GameCube controller.
The compilation will also include extras such as the ability to unlock bonus content by clearing specific goals in each game. Players will also be able to link their high scores to their Mii.
Data East Arcade Classics is expected to be available in early 2010 for $19.99.
