The boys start off the show with some Quick Bites for the two lovely titles Octopath Traveler and Captain Toad. Moving into new things they’ve been playing (well sort of new for Perry) is Picross S2. It’s certainly a new game, but it’s more of what you either love or hate and in Perry’s case, it’s a big ol’ bit of Thatherton love. On the other hand Casey jumped into the game made by one lone man, Iconoclasts. It’s insane to look at this game and think it was made by a single person, but after Casey’s early impressions, what’s even more shocking to him is that one person was able to make a game that feels so good.

We’ve come accustom to monster eShop weeks after week, so when you see a Roundup featuring less than 20 games, that’s something to get excited about. But don’t you guys worry, it’s a week as we still get our Hamster Toss helping of Neo Geo goodness. Then it’s time to break down the News and unlike past weeks, we got some substantial stuff to talk about. We got sales figures and they continue to be promising as the Switch and its software keeps flying off the shelves. And if that wasn’t enough, we were treated to the next game in the Labo series.

It’s been a while and a light week in terms of talking vidya games, so we’re happy to bring back one of our favorite segments, Compatible.  This is a topic where we look back at different Nintendo peripherals throughout the years and thanks to Lemonade’s suggestion of the Game Boy Camera, that’s exactly what we cover this week. There’s a lot to this little device and we cover it including some fun facts and downright weird error screens. The best part of this Compatible is that it will be a double feature because next week we’re going to take a look at the Game Boy Printer!
