Well after a good night of playing, I am up to Gaudia Quest, on the final challenge. I think the game is terrific. Thanks to Jonny for tipping us off about this game via the podcast.

Well, after a good day of playing i am done with all of the normal challenges. The only thing left is for me to complete the game 100%, i was very pleased. This game took me back to when i played games like these. I enjoyed every second of it.

In the GameFan Magazine Apr 1986. page 6/13 Says you can make your car indestructible in Rally King by simply pressing select while holding left on the control pad in the title screen, and your car should become green.  I have tried this at least 10 times and cannot get it to work.  I try it where it says Rally King and shows the van going through the desert and says push start....I assume this is the title screen?  Suggestions?

I have figured it out.  The Magazine in the game is incorrect.  The code for invincible is actually... On Title screen, hold UP + LEFT + SELECT.  I tried it and it worked the first time.  You can find all the cheats for Retro Game Challenge here....

I just ordered this on Amazon. It is only $20 there now.

I got the game and have been playing it most evenings before bed. I love it to death but I do agree that the only glaring issue with it is the forced 'one challenge at a time in a specific order' matter.

I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone who enjoyed and appreciated games from the 8-bit era.

I just picked this up today on sale at fry's for 17 bucks.  Been looking around for it, so I"m pretty stoked to find it and can't wait to play now :)
