It seems you need to post a source.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

That would be such a stupid thing for them to do.  Perfect Dark 0 is a rumoured Xbox 360 launch title.  Having PD on the DS would get Nintendo fans excited about a franchise that a direct competitor has exclusive rights to.  They would essentially be advertising the Xbox 360 to the Nintendo fanbase.  If a DS owner liked Perfect Dark enough to buy a whole new console for a sequel they wouldn't be buying the Revolution.

So whats so stupid about that?  Wouldn't that be the point of releasing the game on a Nintendo handheld?  Would't they want the attention of the original fans of the game and get them interested in the Xbox 360 instead of waiting for the Rev?  If anything, I think that would be a smart thing for them to do, which makes it all the more unlikely to happen.

I meant stupid for Nintendo to allow it.  Obviously it would be a brilliant move for Microsoft.

Didn't Namco already say they would be porting the DC version, in some form, to the DS?

That's a Penny-Arcade quote referring to Tribes 3/Vengeance.

Am I the only one thinking "please don't let it be a franchise game!"?

Sometimes franchise games play with the franchise so much, it makes the spin-off stronger than if it had been a new franchise.  I think the Mario Kart and Mario RPG series are good examples.  Wario Ware pretty much reinvented Wario's mini-world, too.  Mario Pinball...mmm..less so ;-)

And can someone explain to me the big deal of Kid Icarus?  That game was as much as a non-event as Ice Climbers was - maybe even moreso.  If you want an old NES game, Wrecking Crew was heaps more fun - you could play it two player co-op AND design your own levels.

Actually, there are a number of old-time NES games I'd like to be revived. StarTropics, Mach Rider, Kid Icarus... heck, even a Wild Gunman FPS would do.

There's a GI scan floating around that has the title "Metroid Dread" (2d adventure) on it...Considering the title of the blog, this may likely be it...

Mario suggested that, Obi striked it down.

Besides, that scan is fake. There's titles on there that are already released.

Some are suggesting that one of the titles he's talking about could be StarFox.

EDIT - As for the other title, I think that may be Metroid Dread, because of the "dreadfully excellent" title the 1UP guy posted. While I am excited for another 2D Metroid, I don't think it's nearly as "killer app" the guy made it out to be. But we'll see.
