Hardly crazy or a meltdown, and I don't regret or retract a single word of it. I expected this result from the outset. I'll be interested to see if those State Amendments stick. As a Libertarian, I don't have a problem with you frying your brain into scrambled eggs so long as you aren't hurting anyone besides yourself or infringing on the rights of others. But this country still seems to like to pretend that this "war on drugs" is something that can actually be won.

Trickle down economics don't work, never have and never will. Studies dhow that all that happens is that the rich get richer while the poor and middle class stay the same or get worse. The economy has been slowly improving over the last 4 years (including 32 straight months of private sector job growth), and would have been even better if a certain conservative party hadn't been hell-bent on wrecking the country to stop the president for being re-elected (including blocking a bill that would have created millions of jobs for veterans and their spouses).

Killed by the policies of an anti-business, anti-capitalism president and a do-nothing Senate, along with a world economy full of tanking economies following the very policies our illustrious president supports.

Cause cutting taxes for small businesses is anti-business? Cutting taxes for 98% of Americans is anti-capitalist? The conservative right have been spouting this anti-business/anti-capitalist BS for 4 years, despite his record showing the opposite. And in the Senate, it's always the GOP stopping things from getting done(the last 2 years have had more filibusters than any Congress in history). Over in the House, the GOP have voted dozens of times to try and take away abortion rights. And, again, the US economy is improving. It might not be improving as fast as we would like, but the fact of the matter is that it is improving.

but seriously though, you guys put too much stock on the presidential race, its the house elections that really determine whether or not the president can really get anything done what with the vicious partisanship. Because of this party politics in America is beginning to resemble a parliamentary system without it's perks. Also, a two party system doesn't help things one bit.
