First ten people to reply to this post get to take place in a few rounds of Brain Age lead by me.

Trust me, it won't be anything too taxing.

I'm going to cap the very first round off at five, just to get things kicked off...  I just need one more person!

Awesome!  First activity - Picture Drawing.

I'm going to send four of you a word or phrase.  Using nothing but Paint and your own free hand skills, I want the four of you to independently draw a picture (limited 400x400) that conveys the word or phrase that I have provided you.  The fifth person gets to guess what that word or phrase might be.

Drawers: Again, for your drawing, you can only use Paint and must do everything freehand.  In the spirit of this exercise, I'm going to ask you *not* to cheat by copy/pasting or sharing with other players.  When you are finished, post your image on the board.  If you do not have the ability to upload/host images online, e-mail your completed picture to me (theunclebob@hotmail.com) and I will upload the picture for you to post.

Guesser: No cheating for you either!  Please do not communicate with the drawers about what the image is supposed to be (each drawer will be given the same word/phrase, so don't ask what someone's drawing was until after the round is completed!)  You may guess one time after each drawer's picture is posted, however if two (or more) drawers post a picture before you guess, you miss a turn (or more) at guessing - part of training your brain is being quick to respond!

Drawers - you will receive your word/phrase shortly via PM.  Guesser - You'll be notified first via PM.

Ok, this is the most randomly difficult thing I've ever seen. But, let's go. Wandering's and Sessha's both have something Bill related and a heart. Caliban's is a Triforce, which I can't seem to connect to the other two, so I'll think of it as a diversion for now. This brings me to Stabby's. It looks like some sort of rag doll, a rag doll that one would use in a courtroom to ask a child on the stand some. . .questions. Anyway, I'm pretty sure that Bill loves Zelda, so my guess is:

Bill's love(s) (or something along those lines).

Dude, you think this is bad, you should see some of the pictures my wife has drawn and what they were supposed to be.  (although, to be fair, what I drew as "My first memory", she thought was a duck... )

Anywhoo, you're pretty spot on.  The correct answer was "Bill's True Love".  I'm going to say TVMan won this round.  Special props to wandering for his picture.

Okay, I'm going to assume that the five players for this around, along with those who have said they want in the next round still want to play.  If any of you *don't* want in the next round, please let me know.  Also, if anyone does want in the next round, also let me know!

TVMan - send me your "prize".

The next round (also Picture Drawing) will start once I get TVMan's "prize" and am able to send out PMs.

This is a very interesting idea for a game.
I would play but I have a guest at the house and can't put too much attention into the computer today.
besides my drawing sux in paint and I still can't figure out PS (thanx to a lack of effort).

I wonder what the next few rounds are going to be like?

Okay, guesser - remember, check back often - you can guess one time after each picture is posted, but if two (or more) pictures get posted before you guess, you lose chances to guess!  There will be more drawers this time around.  As with the last round, there will only be one phrase - this rounds phrase comes from TVMan - who will also be drawing this round.

Drawers - Remember, only use Paint (Is there a Mac equivalent of paint?  Mac users, you can use that).  The point of this isn't to make the purdiest picture or anything - it's to see how well you can express a single thought in a simplistic drawing.  Just be glad I'm letting you use color - you don't get to do that in Brain Age.  Speaking of which, the next round will have a "special condition" for the drawers, so look forward to that.

Anywhoo, I'll get the notifications out here in a few.

Attention Drawers: Special Update

If you do not have Paint on your computer or do not have a place to upload your images to, check out this:

http://canvaspaint.org/

It's an online, browser based version of Paint that even seems to work on Macs.  It appears you can use this and save a picture locally to upload in your own space or use it to save the image on their servers - if you don't have your own space to upload it to.

If you don't want to use this and would rather send your picture to me to upload, you still may - but this method might be a bit easier!

Is it Unclebob digs post bumps?

EDIT: Going by UERD's picture, I would assume the message is Unclebob bumps posts but with Darkheart's picture, I've been led to believe that there is more to the phrase. Then there is stabby's picture which seems a bit uncomprehensible. At least the second part with the hat and rose. So, this leads me to believe the phrase has to be moe than Unclebob bumps posts.

Wow... Round 3 will be hard.

Guesser: Remember, no cheating!  You may guess one time after any picture has been posted.  You may not guess again until another picture has been posted.  If multiple pictures are posted before you're able to guess, you still only get one guess until the next picture is posted.

Drawers: Remember, you may only use Paint or http://canvaspaint.org/ to create your picture.  If you don't have anyplace to upload it, I recommend using canvaspaint, as it allows you to upload your image as well.  Pictures can be no larger than 400x400.  You are not allowed to use words or letters.  Also, do not collaborate with other drawers - be original!
IMPORTANT NOTE TO DRAWERS: For this round (and future rounds) there will be a "Special Rule" in place.  The Special Rule for each round will change from round to round (although I may choose to recycle the special rule on occasion).  This round's special rule is one that I had in place before Khush sent me his phrase, so I apologize in advance.  The rule is - you cannot draw something meant to represent a poster's current avatar.  You can draw something meant to represent one of his or her previous avatars, however.

Notices will be sent out shortly.

vudu - until he/she makes his/her first guess, the chosen guesser remains a secret - this helps keep the drawers from referencing something that, perhaps, would giver that drawer an advantage over other drawers who don't regularly talk with the chosen guesser....

The guesser gets to keep guessing one time after each picture is posted (if multiple pictures are posted before he guesses, he misses out on a chance to guess.  After all drawers have posted their pictures (or, after I've decided I'm not waiting on any more drawers to get busy), then the guesser gets one final guess.  Afterwards, if he/she doesn't get it, you may post the answer...

stevey got it!

Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

All right, thatguy, what does Scrooge McDuck have to do with anything?  It looks like we're supposed to get the letter B out of that, but how?

Bah humbug!  You cross out the humbug, you get bah.  Add ring. Bah-ring.  I couldn't find the original context, and I couldn't come up with anything too witty.

Cool, thanks! I think that deserves 'post of the month'.
