joey"pimp daddy"jojo feels the need to clear a few things up so we can get on with our lives:

dark warehouse, how could you talk to me like that? i tried to stand up for you baby, and you act like i never loved you. im appalled. not to mention scarred for life. i know how harsh my fellow aussies can be, especially considering theyre all ex cons.

I ABSOLUTELY DENY HITTING ON SHIFTY. i merely asked if he would accompany me for dinner at Papa Giuseppi's Pizza Palace. nothing more. in all honesty i'll admit i was hoping for a goodnight kiss, but it never happened. geez.

what HAS happened to nintendo inc? is it down? or is my comp just too screwed to view it? come on man! i need that site for all the latest gaming news and media! COME OOOOOON!

*leans VERY close to Dark Chimney and whispers*

"hey there sweetcheeks"

duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude!
i didnt even realise pn03 was coming out soon. its not even on the au nin site.

oh, and anyone who wants to talk sh1t about dark castle and that other guy.... cookie monster or whatever his name is, hear this! they are my bitches. lay one hand (or any other apendage) on their sweet, supple, tender, fragrant, scrumptious asses, and i will see to it that your hands are thoroughly moisturised with nivea hand hydro balance lotion. so much so that you are unable to open doors, thus containing you in an un-escapable death trap.

why did i even bother writing something like that man?

im outta here!      POP

WHOA! oh yeah, im pretty sure that if you play super mario land with the game boy player you get "teh megaton announcement" on completion.

pffft. OOOOOOOOooooo. 2000th post.... nobody who's "down wit it" gives a f*ck about about the "honour" and "prestige" of the "grand" 2000th post. i know i dont. now, the 3000th post! thats what IM talking 'bout! little do you all know, ive gone underground. by day, i carefully plan my glorious "3000th post get" down to the finest details. by night, i workout in a gruelling exercise regime to prepare my body for pinpoint "type and click" accuracy. try and stop me.... MWAHAHAHAHAHOHOHEEEAGGG cough cough...

also, anybody wanna buy my gheym boy player? its going out the door for a low low AU$100 bucks. its in perfect condition. i just never use it. i'll also sell some gba games if you want em, for a low low......well, im not sure... but LOW! advance wars, golden sun 1 & 2, f-zero, yoshis island, zelda: alttp.            LOW!

it sucks man, i kinda want to get rid of my gba altogether (to fund some GC games while im trying to save to go overseas) but i know that if i got rid of it, i'd be screwed for some kind of connectivity in a future game. in that respect, i think the whole connectivity thing is bad. if you buy a game, you should have access to the game in its entirety, rather than being blackmailed into getting a gba, or a gba AND a game. down with connectivity! DOWN!!!!!

joeyjojo here. im dictating this post to my mum from my hospital bed.

you see, last night i visited nitsu's webpage. when i gazed upon the "insane" backgrounds and giant logos i was sent into a semi paralysed state. it was at this point that my hand (which was resting on the mouse) slid down, thus causing the page to scroll, revealing different coloured text. the inability to read the text against the background started off a chain reaction in my eyeball, ultimately causing it to become dislodged. to my utter dismay, the now airbourne eyeball landed squarely on the left mouse button, sending me to a bowel looseningly stark list of some sort. this was when i passed out.
in summary, if i ever see you in person nitsu (the doctors tell me i have a 1 in 3000 chance of regaining vision in one eye), i will give YOU some eye candy! THATS RIGHT!
right now i am holding not one, but TWO giant gobstoppers. and theyre going in your eye sockets baby! its only a matter of time...

hey kids!

well, golden sun: the lost age has just gracefully entered the "games that can suck my d*ck hall of fame" alongside Majoras mask and Waverace.

*performs bullet-dodging slowmotion dive out window (while firing back)*

heres the dis rapup for the lost age:

* gun barrel to then head tedious dialogue sequences
* crap overworld map
* navigation in dungeons. "hmmmm, i cant really tell where i am now because this room looks identical to every other one ive been in so far."
* crap art style. (im only really referring to the enemies and a few of the battle backgrounds.)
* has anyone ever really damaged a weapon???
*other stuff.

GOODNIGHT

yo. if anyone is a fan of michelle ang from neighbours (the chinese chick, duh) GET BLACK AND WHITE MAGAZINE NOWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!! i mean now. let me put it to you like this; if you watched every episode of neighbours that she's in, you wouldnt see nearly as much of her as you do in the 4 or so pages of B&W.

speaking of ho's... when i picked up B&W i also got the last edition of nintendo gamer, just for the f*ck of it. i havent bought a gaming mag since i was in year 7 (8 years ago). ANYWAY, i saw a pic of that kelly starr biatch. what the hell is the attraction to that pasty geek. she could do with some more fat on her bones too. in fact, so could all ladies these days. EAT UP GIRLS!

wsssssup LADAYYYYS!

so i got a gb player yesterday + golden sun: teh lost age. ive barely started playing golden sun yet though because of yoshis island. i finished it last night. i must say that im pretty dissapointed with the music for the final boss. it sounds like a final fight tune for gods sake.

i kinda feel like a dipsh*t for buying the gb player actually. i mean, lately ive hardly been playing my gba at all. and now ive spent 100 bucks just so that ill play these games. im gradually getting over it though. i just wish you didnt need to hook up additional gba's with carts to play multiplayer games. i soooo wanna woop everyones ass in street fighter but i cant.

infernal, your comics are slippin' man. if i dont laugh at your next one i'll kick your ass... at street fighter.

i only read a few of the replies to this thread so forgive me if i overlap on anyones points.

RE type games have always had this sort of control scheme. from alone in the dark, to bioforge, to Relentless (ok, relentless isnt really in the same genre but the same type of controls applied. more or less.)   the controls have always worked for these games. they're not platformers or straight up action games so they have different controls.

now that ive got the bitching out of the way...     i dont think that 360 degree analog control is going to help the player in a RE game. when you enter a new camera angle, you need to be sure that you are heading in the same same direction as you were when you left the previous area. because up is ALWAYS forward, you will walk/run into the next screen without a hitch. if foward depends on the context of what camera angle you are viewing from, then you could enter a new area to find yourself moving in a undesireable direction ie. back in the direction you came from, into a wall, OR into a zombie.

the second point i wanted to address is being able to walk backwards. walking backwards can be used to distance yourself from any slow moving enemies approaching you, while facing them. obviously youre not going to use it while engaging a fast moving enemy (DUH!!!!). i think it is also important for cosmetic purposes. i mean, i think it would look silly if your character turned their back on a potentially deadly creature in order to reposition themself for attack. think about it. backing up is a much better option cinematically.

in conclusion, if anyone has ever used a remote control car, they should be able to grasp RE's controls easily, unless you are unco.

oh noooooooo. im gonna have to play WW a couple of hundred times to GRASP everything!
pokemon: gotta grasp em all

pranks ayyyyyyy?
well, one time back when i was at school...         "finish the story grandpa!"              ...... ho ho ho, ok kids. well anyway, there was this really weird dude who was trying to hang out with my group. it wasnt the fact that he couldnt speak english that well, this guy had had to go because he'd try and pat your leg in PE and in fact one time in maths he asked me if i could write something "cool" on his hand like "poofter". we called him "dub dub", which was short for "WW" "which was short for "weird will".
ANYWAY, so one day will came down and sat with us and one of my friends asked if he would like some ecstasy. will refused, so my mate produced a harmless panadol from his hand and proceded to swallow it. minutes later he got this deathly look on his face and started to pretend to have an incredibly lifelike seizure, complete with convulsions (my friend was an expert at regurgitation). it carried on for a minute or two.
...... and from that day forth, the evil dub dub never returned to the magical kingdom, for he was banished! and his enchanted hand would never pat the legs of elf children again. THE END

"Cel Damage is a lot of fun, but it doesn’t have the most advanced
technical aspects of it. Even though it is lacking some advanced technical
aspects, it is still a lot of fun and an overall great game. Without the
cartoony atmosphere of Cel Damage, this game would not be near as fun as it is.
There is nothing wrong with the sound, but some of the sound effects are quite
unnecessary. The music is quite good though and really gets you in the right
atmosphere to play it."

from the same review:
"The music is really lacking in Cel Damage though. It fits in with the game and the levels well enough, but the music just isn't very good. It really doesn't fit in with the crazy action of the game. For a crazy game like this, you'd be expecting crazy, up-tempo music, but instead you're stuck with slower songs that just seem too normal for a game like this. My opinion of the music is also partially based on the fact that the sound effects and voices are too loud and occur too often, so you never really get to hear the music. And when there is a break in action, you're too focused on the game to listen, or to even care, about the music."

man this guys a knob
"As one of the launch titles for the Nintendo Gamecube, SSX Tricky had tremendous anticipation."

DUHHHHHHH BRAAAAAAAAAIIIIINNNSSSSSSSSS
"Throughout the game, your ears are greeted with crystal clear sounds. There are three different types of sound in the game. These four types are: voices, sound effects, and music. The voices are said by three people during SSX Tricky, the announcer, your boarder, and your opponents."

come again?
"These load times also kill the thought of the game connected."

haha
"In the multiplayer mode, there are some great aspects and some horrible aspects."

you probably shouldnt bother checking this out...        http://www.nintendonow.com/reviews
this site has the sh!tiest game reviews ive ever come across.     my god.      WHOS WRITING THEM?!?!?!? TELL ME!! TELL MEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

put it this way, "Just walking through the halls, you can tell that the graphics are incredibly detailed. You can see the textures of all the vases, tables, ghosts, and especially Luigi. Since Luigi is in every scene, you expect him to have the most detailed graphics. This is correct as the designers have spent many hours perfecting his graphical image."

yeah

" At no point in the game, do you ever experience a happy time which is unlike any other Nintendo game."

ok

i dunno... i just hate it when i read a review of a game, and the reviewer tries to sound like someone who can actually write, and knows what they are talking about.

DUHHHHHH BUMP MATTING IS TEH TEKNEEK THAT MAKE DA SOUND GO LEFT AND RIGHT DUHHHHHHHHH

i told my lil bro he had to buy burnout 2 if he saw it anywhere, and, to cut a short story even shorter, joeyjojo is owning it up in burnout 2 at the momo. whoa, weve got 26 gc games now. like, a few weeks ago we had about 20. ive hardly touched beach spikers. although, in my opinion, it doesnt deserve to be touched. i only played multiplayer, but the gameplay didnt exactly grab me. it felt a little bit "run to where the balls about to land, press any button and hope for the best".

oh man. i refused to absorb the 'power' of beer the last 2 nights but it JUST DIDN'T WORK.

i just wanted to give some big props to PIKMIN.     *sound of harp, followed by black and white memory sequence*

aahhhhhhh yes, i remember when i was but a wee lad... i picked up pikmin (if youll excuse the sh1thouse pun) on the day it came out. i got the little baby for 85 bucks at grace bros, even though i had preordered it a EB, a mere 100 metres away. (ok too much detail)

the moral of this story is: i played it and got about halfway through and then we got smash bros and it got shelved. BUT, i recently started a NEW game and finished it. (with 8 days to spare) and MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN PIKMIN IS A GREAAAAAAT GAAAAAAAAAAAAME!

i LOVE the music in PIKMIN i tellz ya. even though when it came out a bunch of little bitches were whining about it. i have NO idea why. they can go and listen to some pansy ass death metal for all i care really.

its not the longest game in the world, but i really dont care AT ALL. when i play it i can feel the nintendo love "shining" through.

it may look cute on the outside, but is there another game where you make new units out of youre dead enemies? THATS HARCORE SH1T. keepin it gangsta.
