Yeah, i watched the conference and missed that.  That's pretty sweet.... and if it supports GCN controllers it definately points to a serious SERIOUS shake up as far as their controller is concerned.

Thinking about this, after Nintendo saw Sony's fugly controller maybe that caused them NOT to show more info.  Knowing that Sony obvious had some work to do there, why would they want to help that process?  I don't think we will see it until Sony has their's set in stone, and not even Nintendo knows when that will be.

This is my last post in this pathetic thread...

Just because they didn't show any evidence of their business strategy that is DIRECTLY related to the Rev...they showed a ton that backs it up on other platforms...  My god...you all need to grow up.  It isn't a f*cking competetion.  The only competetion involved is whether or not Nintendo will be in business...and if you aren't convinced they are, then you need to calm yourself down and think logically.  This is like arguing the differences between Sin City and The Scooby Movie.

The problem is that you have no way of knowing that, and for that matter, Nintendo missed their chance to show anybody that.

Ok...so you can believe Sony when they tell you the PS3 is 35 times faster than the PS2, but I can't believe Nintendo when they say they are stressing the little developers and innovation...

Whatever.

Nintendo is doing things right.  They, as a company, make me happy.  They are running their business in the way businesses should be run.  They are stressing the little guy instead of the companies that can afford 8 figure budgets.  I am happy...  and I don't want to be lumped in with the likes of you whiners.

There is no way they are decreasing the resolution of the screen.  If anything the text will look better because the pixels are smaller.

Also, did anyone notice that square was present in both MS's and Sony's conferences?  I sincerely hope they are present at Nintendo's too.  I have no problem with them releasing games for other consoles as long as they don't leave nintendo out, especially after publicly saying how much they like the online plan.

Power was never an issue before MS came into things...  They say things and consumers just bend over in anticipation.  Look at the N64 / PSX days...  other than FMV capacity, the N6 blew the PSX out of the water....

That is why MS is bad for the industry, because for some reason everything they say is taken as gospel by everyone... media, consumers, gods, etc.

Yeah, like those Perfect Dark 0 screens?  It is not valid in any way whatsoever.  The only video that has been shown that looks better than the current gen is just pre-rendered garbage anyway.

Its not a question of Nintendo underestimating their console, its a question of the public being f*cking stupid....

So, if the X-Box 360 is 35 times more powerful than the standard x-box what does that mean?  I mean, logically, it should say that the 360 can take Halo 2, and render it 35 times on teh same screen without dropping a frame.  Come on people.  How the hell can you be so stupid as to believe that?  If you are, then don't buy a fricken Nintendo and stop posting on this site so I don't have to read your garbage anymore.  Seriously.

Will the Rev be able to render the new Zelda 2-3 times on teh same screen?  Almost definately...  Is that an amazing thing?  Sure as hell is.  Are MS and Sony basically lying to the public?  They sure as hell are.  Is the public stupid enough to believe them?  Most likely.
