I agree Caliban, at least. I'm thinking 1.5 million copies at least TBH.

It makes sense (and yes it is a good thing). Metroid fans are going to buy prime 3, that's just a given. So I am all for commercials that show joe-every-gamer play the game having fun.

It's the music they use for all those commercials, why would metroid be any different?

I came away confident about Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. It seems that Sega is making a visually attractive game with plenty of events that genuinely take advantage of the Wii remote in unique and varied ways.

Translation: Nintendo made Sega not suck at making a game with their characters in it.

Good =D Sega should become a Nintendo second party or something and stop making crap forever and ever and get back to making good games.

Oh nice video btw, who's the girl?

To my knowledge this is a brand new game being made for Wii, so it's being built from the ground up for Wii.

Someone correct me if I am wrong =)

AH TY!

You know I said "Man I remember this game being mentioned SOMEWHERE" so I did a forum search for the game name to see if a forum existed about it already but nothing came up.

Now I remember, it was the rumor thread I saw it in.

Not to be outdone by Sega's Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, Midway has some screens of their upcoming game "Cruis'n" for the Wii:

Mmm so beautiful

I checked the NWR main page for this and didn't see it so <3

Edit: I would be willing to give it the benefit of the doubt of maybe looking better when it's released but it's release date of Nov. 2007 makes me believe this is a near finished product X_X.

That... doesn't follow at all.

Ok let's break it down then shall we?

Quote

Using violence to force others to agree with one's point of view hardly seems extremist. As I said before... 99%+ of people are willing to do that.

You're saying 99% (or more) people on the earth are willing to resort to violence in order to make others agree with themselves.

So that means (based off of the population number 6,613,714,003) 6,547,576,863 (rounding up) people in the world would be willing to resort to violence in order to FORCE people to agree with them.

You know what happens when lots of people try to force lots of other people to believe in their viewpoint? War.

That's really all war is. 2 differentiating view points that can only be solved through violence. So pretty much 6,547,576,863 people would be poised for battle to make their point proven . . . I don't think the population would last very long.

No, Nintendo is just doing what it always does and is advertising the game shortly before it's release.

Haven't seen it yet but that was good!

{coolcaps}

NINTENDO WHY DIDN'T YOU SHOW MORE CAMERA SHOTS LIKE THE ONE TOWARDS THE END DAMN! ::slams head into a table::

{/coolcaps}

The angle with the guy shooting and what not with him in the foreground and prime in the background was perfect! Shoulda used that style shot more.

Nice commercial though, decent run time though it seems like even metroid is being aimed at the casual market with the players they had playing the game.

Do they even try anymore?

(Yeah I know it's a bad scan, or what seems to be a scan but the pictures seem downright ugly).

You know we have a front page?

Oh . . . sorry.

There is no link to discuss it in talkback though which is why I didn't see it!

See we wouldn't be able to talk about how bad they are.

I actually never view the front page anymore sorry

Absolutely nothing. MS will never have a strong Japanese market . . . NEVER.

If that statistic were true we would all already be dead and the world we be devoid of human life as we would have killed each other by now.

97.3% of all statistics are made up.

Also wouldn't 99%+ mean 100%?

Ohhhh who's 2 for 2!

Can't believe 2 updates in one day (unless that's happened before and I missed it).

Mr. Tally person, please add on another 2 points if you would be so kind.

Auguest 24th Predication: Stage update.
(Specific: Pokemon Stadium)
(Super Specific: The transforming stages various elements will benefit the pokemon trainer player depending on the pokemon he has out. Example: if the stage turns into a water stage, squirtle gets a boost in power or something.)

WOW two updates in one day!?!!?

Pure awesome. Oh and guess who was right again? Take that GP! =D

Edit: Yoshi's final smash is pretty cool and I too am happy it isn't egg related.

The music is . . . really catchy. I know some people don't like how the music isn't orchestrated and high tech super awesome midi quality but I personally LOVE the direction some of the songs are going in. It feels like a real kick back to the days of old and after going back and playing Melee again lately I saw myself not as impressed with the more orchestrated tracks from that game. As weird as it sounds, I think the catchy, upbeat midi tunes from this game will have more longevity in the years down the road but only time will tell . . .
