Drew Carey to host 'The Price Is Right'

I wonder if he will say "remember to have your pets spayed or neutered" at the end of each show.

Anyone else see the trailer for this?

At first I immediately thought Godzilla but apparently it isn't as the film is evidently confirmed to not be a remake or part of an existing franchise.

Still really good "wtf?!" trailer.

We had a few too many titles to show off this year at E3, so we decided to hold that one back. I think it will be another big step forward in terms of Touch Generations style games for Wii, so you'll just have to wait until we can talk about it.

=D awesome!

So I saw on 1Up (and then later the official game web site) that Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is being release for every system except the Wii.

This includes the Nintendo DS, PSP and PS2.

What gives Lucas Arts?

Shiggy Visits EA

It's got to be an absolute highlight to have Shigeru Miyamoto stroll into your suite just to get his hands on your game... no, I'm not talking about Rock Band, though I'd pay high dollar to see a video of him rocking out to Enter Sandman. No, Miyamoto hit up EA's E3 hotel suite to cheack out NBA Live's family play controls for the Wii and Skate, which Stephen Totilo thinks and I hope could be a sign that he wants to get the Wii's Balance Board to work with it.

Both Reggie and Eiji Aonuma (Zelda guy) were in tow.

I think that's really cool of them all and any efforts by Nintendo to make nicey nice with third parties is always a welcome sight to my eyes.

Quote

(...) Now it appears there may be room for only two pillars and the Nintendo Game Boy might be on its way out.

So says George Harrison, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications of NOA, in an E3 interview with GameDaily BIZ, in which he says "This year in our marketing you really won't see much push against Game Boy itself, so it will kind of seek its own level. It's hard to say in the future if we will ever bring back the Game Boy trademark."

Civilization Revolution is coming to all consoles and handhelds later this year. No, sorry, mistake. It's coming to everything except the PSP. Why the snub? Firaxis' Barry Caudill:

The reason the Wii version is in [autumn 2008] is because we realised that we could free up enough guys to do it, but we don't have enough guys to then do a PSP version as well.

I used to love the X-files and heard rumors of a second film for a long time but now according to David Duchovny, it really is "going forward" and Gillian Anderson is indeed on board.

Haha ok the people making the Simpsons DS game gets massive props for doing a spoof on Nintendogs:

Basic gameplay and  it starts with Pet Homer. Graphics look really true to the show as well, pretty impressive.

In the viewer feedback section towards the end of their hour long E3 podcast they had this to say on the subject of the resurrected "Nintendo franchise that Matt was talking about":

The following is a transcript from the podcast  (and if you want to take a listen just click here - 160kb sound clip):

Quote

Matt: Yeah they didn't show it.

Bozon: They did not.

Matt: Plain and simple. ummm that means there's at least one more hardcore game . . .

Bozon: [slight laughter] That's true you're right. We do know at least one more (hardcore game).

Bozon: Yeah, so it is coming. We promise.

Matt: Alright.

Bozon: Yeah. Unless it gets canceled by Nintendo to make Wii Fit 2.

Matt: And if it does get canceled by Nintendo uhh it'll show up from another publisher at some point. Definitely.

Bozon: Oh no it... [Bozon cuts him off]

Matt: Oh sorry...that couldn't happen. . . yeah you can take what you want from that answer.

[Both laugh at one another, clearly they said more than they should have].

Interesting . . .

Edit: To add on to this, could this indeed be the legendary mystical Golden Sun for Wii game?

Afterall, this is a game made by Camelot Software Planning and was published by Nintnedo . .  . maybe I am just wishfully thinking at this moment.
