I never beat it, I quit after a few levels of not being challenged. I probably would have been challenged later on, but I didn't feel like playing for that long without challenge every time I started up the game.

For some reason I don't really like horizontal scrolling shooters, I much prefer vertical. That's one of the only negatives I see in Blast Works.

He should get into smuggling. If he works fast he can be the head of his own smuggling ring by September, and then he'd have underlings to do the smuggling for him while he stayed in his base high in the Andes mountains playing all his games. The only downside is that the shipping prices to get the games to the Andes won't be pretty.

I've been looking at reviews of lots of them, Super Star Soldier is in the lead right now, but I'm still not done looking. This review made me realize I'm in the mood for a good high score challenge.
I found Soldier Blade to be more accessible than Super Star Soldier.  SSS's harder, though, if that's what you're into.

I already have Soldier Blade, I like it but I don't get much excitement from it because it feels too easy. I barely died and I rarely ever felt like I was in danger. I'm not someone that's usually good at shmups (the exception being Galaga, which I'm only good at because of how much I play it), and I hadn't played Soldier Blade in months but I felt like I was just coasting through it.

After playing about an hour and twenty minutes into this game I have decided that I don't in any way regret buying 3 hours of this game for $10 and if they'd like to sell me another 3 hours of it for another $10 I'd take them up on it in a heartbeat.

The SD card slot is intolerably slow.  It takes like 5 seconds to delete a 1-block save file after clicking "yes".

Wii storage is doomed.

As I've said before, possibly in this very thread, when you load an mp3 to listen to in Excite Truck you pick one from the list and it starts playing almost immediately, I don't think the problem with the speed of the SD card reader is the hardware itself.

There's no all-you-can-eat music service that works with a Mac, and I don't like the concept anyway. I probably should have gotten it via torrents and then paid for it if I liked it, but I didn't feeling like going through the trouble of that so I just went on iTunes and grabbed it quick. 7 bucks isn't that much, so I don't care that much, this is just something to remember for the future.

16610
Well I downloaded Weezer's first album, and I must say I'm not a fan. A couple of the songs were decent, but nothing I'd probably listen to much more, if at all. Oh well, there's 7 bucks I'm never going to get back.

I need those ports for my GameCube memory cards, the ones for the games I almost never play anymore. Also, didn't you say that disc thing said there was a limit to how big GC memory cards could be?

This review and discussion has convinced me to buy Super Star  Soldier on the VC, partially because it has more content, but mostly because it's over 100 blocks less in file size.

So a good game is still a good game at $160 purchase price, just not likely to be a very sensible...umm... purchase?

Yes, Rock Band is a good game.

I'm really interested in this game, but all my game money right now is tied up in Wii points and saving for a wireless nunchuk. Is there a demo of the Mac version?

I spend way too much time at my GameStop. I realized that when I went in to pick up my Wii Fit preorder and the guy behind the counter didn't even ask my name, he just went and got it.

The last possible point at which Nintendo could have any shred of doubt that this was a problem was when they set the file size limit for Wii Ware and then realized that there were over 100 Wii Ware games in development. Once they became aware of those two things there is no way they couldn't know it was a problem. As for priority, I don't think Iwata would have acknowledged the issue without dismissing it if they didn't intend to provide a solution.

You lied about being deaf? That's awful, you're a worse version of Hitler! Which probably means you should be banned from Mario Kart Wii online

I'm guessing, but it sounds like the limit for BlueTooth Devices in use could be seven, but the number of devices saved in the Wii's memory could be 10.

I hadn't thought of that, that makes perfect sense. I should probably stop going through the manual with a fine toothed comb and actually play the "game".

16620
It's probably going to be something stupid, I just registered Wii Fit and it's my 111th registered game on My Nintendo. I looked back and as far as I can tell my 100th game registered on My Nintendo was the SNES game Vegas Stakes on the VC, which this site (back when they did recommendations for VC games) did not recommend for anyone.

I picked Olimar as my main the second I knew he was in the game, that turned out to be a very good decision.

I wasn't using it as a reason to not doing anything (and neither did Iwata, who specifically mentioned that even though the group is small it makes sense to fix the issue because that group is also the one that buys the most games); I have enough VC and Wii Ware games, channels, and saves to fill the Wii's internal memory more than twice over, I've been arguing for a hard drive for half a year now.

That would be a really weird thing for the manual to be wrong about, and an unlikely typo. I've connected Wii remotes to my computer via bluetooth, so I know they're bluetooth, but if Nintendo wanted to make a special modification to the bluetooth equipment in the Wii they could probably increase the limit of possible connections to the Wii while having the equipment in the remotes and other devices remain standard.

That may be it, maybe everyone just assumed that since Wii remotes are compatible with bluetooth they have a limit of 7 connections.

I'm reading the Balance Board manual (because I have that kind of time) and it says something that contradicts what I've read in the past. "Up to a total of 10 Wii remotes and accessories can be synchronized to a console at any time". I may be mistaken, but weren't we told before that it was 7?
