Since when did the Spider-Man movies suck? The first two were arguably the best superhero movies around until Iron Man and Dark Knight. I understand the hatred for 3 (although I still like it OKAY, I kind of feel about it like I do X-3 to X-men 1/2.).

The hardcore are a bunch of arrogant whiners on the internet, the core are the traditionally most profitable segment of the market. When Nintendo says they're making core games that means they're making games like those that sold big in the past. Madden is core but the hardcore whines how it is for casual gamers (when casual gamers are the people who had a PS2 for Madden, what are the new people who got a Wii for Wii Sports?). Pandering to the hardcore may net you prestige but it will not net you money, see the XBox for an example: It sold about as much as the Gamecube but lost wads of cash while the GC was very profitable yet on the internet the hardcore-focussed XBox is seen as a success while the core-focussed Gamecube is seen as a failure.
God I hate this generation.

I can tell you haven't grabbed that free NIN album if you make statments like that.
The Slip isn't a bad album, if you're a hardcore NIN fan. It's just... boring. It's listenable and the songs grow on you over time, it just feels like no time was taken at all on making the music outstanding. It's simply more of the same. I still enjoy it, but it is definitely my least favorite NIN album ever. "Fixed" doesn't count.

Uh, I tried to play this game last week. I couldn't get through the first level before turning it off. I watched a friend play it a year or so ago (I'm actually borrowing it from that friend.), and I thought it was interesting then. "Playing" it now however? Boring as ****.

I don't know what the problem with "Gears like" controls are. They're just more realistic as long as they don't change the tone and "feel" of the game. In real life, if Zombies are rushing at me, I can move around while I shoot at them and scream like a little girl. What's so wrong with allowing Chris to do that?
