I don't know.  I haven't been here all that long it just seems that every time I express an opinion on a subject you seem to have the opposite view.  Maybe I'm just paranoid, or need to post more to up the agreement percentage. :-P

Am I the only one who hasn't had the patience to even finish Prime 2, yet?

Collateral was probably the last movie before Tom Cruise went completely crazy.  War of the Worlds and Mission Impossible III both came out after the couch-jumping.

Ah, thanks.  All I remember is "Cruise is a crazy couch jumper!  He's a Scientologist!  He locks Katie Holmes to the water cooler at night!".  No matter how crazy he is, I still enjoy his movies (most of them).  Mission Impossible III was my favorite MI, and I think deserved a lot more praise than it seemed to get.  It had it's fair share of problems, for sure, but I thought it was pretty good overall.

Yes really.  I'm tired of all the mini-game collections.

(Wow, me and Phoenix agree on something...)

Really?  I was hoping it would at least have a built in HD DVD drive, that would have sealed the deal for me.  Although my initial run 360 is starting to make some funny noises, so I might be having to pick up a replacement soon.

Agreed on the son.

Well I certainly would prefer to have a platformer, as I'm pretty sick of mini-game games.

Although, if it is going to be another mini-game fest (pretty much guaranteed), I hope at the very least I'm not forced to play through a single player mode before getting to play multiplayer.  That was about the stupidest decision I've ever seen.

The only problems I've had with Spielberg endings are for A.I. (the usual reason), and War Of The Worlds... well with WOTW it was more I hated the last third of the movie.  If someone would have told me to walk out once they get to that stupid house I would have been much happier.

And like Ian, I would have ended Minority Report about half an hour earlier, but I still thought it was a good movie.

Aww I was hoping we could at least make it five posts before someone made an ET joke.

Poor Crash, the first three games were amazing, and then it just went all to hell.  I can't say I'm digging the new look too much either, unless this is some sort of Crash prequel or something (he does look "younger").  It's probably just some sort of ploy to make him look more "extreme" or something, though.

Code Veronica is not part of the the main series 'cause it is boring as all hell.  They knew that, seeing fit to deny it a proper sequel number.

Yeah, but it really sucks when you get sub-par virtual console games AND you're not interested in this so called "flood".  I don't know... maybe I'll pick up Godfather.

Hey, I know it doesn't really make sense, if you look at the details.  But I like to have some sort of connection between them, making each adventure part of a larger story.  But yeah, the developers don't really care about connecting them directly, at all.  (Except of course the direct sequels.)

So where does Gannon in Link to the Past come from? I've always just said, well it's an alternate Hyrule and not the same as in LoZ or Zelda II. But many of the other Zelda's have connections to other Zelda's even if they are indirect and/or conflicted mostly. So why wouldn't Zelda II and LttP have a connection? (I like trying to piece together the Zelda time line(s)

I think it's pretty accepted that Zelda 1 and 2 are the last games in the timeline.  It's debatable but I'm pretty sure the closest thing we have to a logical timeline is OOT, MM, TP,WW,ALTTP,LA,LOZ,AOL.  Yes I'm aware about the Oracle games and the other, newer 2d games released, but I don't really give a crap where they fit in.  :-P

Well that sucks.  Well, kind of.  Unless this version is leaps and bounds more advanced than the trial, I fail to see any reason to use it.  (Other than to brag to your friends how you looked at naked ladies on your Nintendo)  I'll download it of course, since it's free at first, I just don't really see the appeal of surfing the net on your TV with an inferior interface.  I guess if all the other computers in the house suddenly crap out, and I just NEED to get online for something, it's good to have the option open.

Viva Pinata was alright for awhile, then it just got incredibly boring.  And has REALLY stupid restrictions on what you're allowed to build.  I quit when I finally had all the space available in my garden, and was told that I was not allowed to have enough pavement to connect all of my houses.  It was really, REALLY stupid, and I'm still very bitter about it to this day.

Wow Tom looks really stupid now.  Good thing Toonami hasn't had anything good on it for around a decade, or I would be sad I had to watch that.
