as i said before i played halo 3 with some friends for awhile and the difficulty level is a nice improvement. we were playing two player co-op on heroic, at first it seemed a little too easy but sections where there are many a enemy, it gets very hard to both stay alive, usually you were able to run back to a safe place to have your buddy respawn, but it wasn't the case in some areas especially later on in the levels, I haven't tried multiplayer yet but I'm looking forward to excellent matchmaking as always.

-Ultimately I'm not sure we would be able to handle Legendary, and we played Halo 2 pretty often, but if we had 4 people (instead of just 2) playing at once I bet we could take on the campaign on legendary.

I just played the co-op campaign with some friends for a couple hours, got through the first for levels, it is extremely awesome, the landscapes are huge and the flood is super creepy as always, but the Gravity Hammer is a favorite of mine.

I'm hoping it's not going to be a ps2 port, they need to build the game from scratch, for wii, especially since wii is going to have some trouble with the physics of it all.

hmm... i would say it's fine to leave it in wc24 during the day but maybe shut it, completely, off during the night, but don't unplug it

I wouldn't worry about it, if it goes kaput again you can send it back in

I was also extremely disappointed in the ending, you saw it a mile away and what was up with that ship battle, i kept waiting and waiting for more and more ships to join in. My favorite of the three movies was definitively the first. If you have ever been on the ride in Disneyland/world, you can see how well related it is to the first movie but i lost that after the first one.  This one did have one scene where the screen went completely black and you could here sound bites from the ride, but it really kind of lost its steam.  Jack sparrow didn't have a great opening scene either. Well, it was still a little disappointing, but worth the money.

You know what's cool that I just found out about Starcraft II?  It has been in production since 2003, right after Warcraft III was finished, according to IGN

so, is this article saying we'll be able to play ranked matches with unknown people or can we only see their stats?

If there were no Japanese characters in the u.s. wouldn't brawl be assumed to not be online between regions. i.e. a states player vs. Japanese player vs. some British guy

So... for the one year anniversary of Radio Free Nintendo.  I think you should bring Evan and Mike back, from the original podcasts and Karl and Stan back, from Nintendo Pirate Radio.  Ideas for topics, I would like to see a discussion about the early speculation behind Wii/Revolution and how, if any, of these things came true. i.e. early controller speculation, games and other cool stuff like that.  It would be cool if you added some things about how Nintendo has changed over the years, From the NES to the Wii and how much they have affected other video game companies, console and game companies.

Thanks, Daniel
p.s. I know where Evan lives

Yeah I guess I shouldn't be comparing games with different target audiences, but does a young kid who likes the types of games based off of animated movies really want to run around, get a "phone call" about a mission and then wander all over the place to find that mission.  It seems like from what I have read about the game. It’s very open in the sense of what you do and where you go.  I don't think a kid will be enthused about a game that the action takes awhile to get to.  Like with other kid’s games it's a whole lot of action and fun right away. The game kind of holds your hand on where you need to go.  If I was a young pup I don’t think I’d like the game very well because you don’t have all the action right away. I guess I’m saying I’d get bored by it.

Is the game really as open as I'm making it sound?

Um... really a 7.5, you thought this was better than rayman, call of duty 3, metal slug, marvel, and a half a point below ssx and excite truck.
Ok I'll take your word for it

TalkBack / RE:Radio Trivia: Podcast Edition
« on: February 25, 2007, 03:28:04 PM »
Hey guys,
loved the trivia, but I think it would be sweet if the podcast didn't have any answers within the recording.  Then you'd have to write in, with what you think the answers are and then the staffers would announce the people with the most correct answers a day or two later.  So it's more like a contest.

I never caught the trivia on Fridays before and i think this is a better way to get more people involved.

Well that's my two cents

I'm scared that if I like unplug my wii after a bought a whole bunch of VC games it will erase the account info and not let me re-download games
