He was probably joking.

I'd consider picking this up at $30... there's no way I'm paying full price for a remake of a 2 year old game made uglier. I might as well get the original. I, like Silks, am waiting for Capcom and other 3rd parties to make some games built from the ground up on the Wii. At least Sega is trying.....

Of course knowing Sega, I wouldn't be surprised if they give this to Sega Studios USA to do.  In which case forget this game even exist because if Sega Studios USA does it, the game will end up complete sh!t.
Jesus Christ on a crutch, man. Do you really have nothing nice to say about anything? Sega Studios USA developed Nights: Journey of Dreams on the Wii. It wasn't that bad. I'd say the worst part about the game is that despite the 10 year difference, it's almost exactly the same game as Into Dreams.

I get how Batman grunts and growls because he's diguising his voice.... I just didn't understand why he'd still use his Batman-voice around people who knows he's Bruce Wayne.

I think Two-Face is dead. That's kind of the point. They beat the Joker by having Dent die a martyr.

Amazing movie with only trivial flaws. Heath Ledger nailed the role. If they make a 3rd movie, my guess is that they bring back Ra's Al Ghul because I'm not sure any other villain would work. Who's left that could pass under Christopher Nolan's "realistic Batman?" The Riddler? Ehhh.... Well, there's Bane, but I think I'd rather see who I mentioned above.

Sonic and the Secret Rings wasn't great (though not terrible), but it was a step in the right direction. Why it took 357 Sonic games for Sega to figure out that people prefer playing as Sonic is beyond me.

I'm simply advocating fairness. One picture, no details. What we have here is a game that essentially exists by name only. I'm not commenting on the quality either way since I don't know. However, I'm keeping an open mind and I appreciate that at least one publisher is giving the Wii the respect it deserves. Sega is publishing Mad World despite the fact that it has sleeper hit written all over it.

Take what you can get and be happy. It's not the end of the world. And it is a lot to ask when your alternative is nothing. You don't know it's not a "good exclusive" because you don't know anything about it. People need to stop acting like they do, because they don't.

1.  Mario Games regularly don't suck even when they go a different direction.
It's one thing to be weary of a new Sonic title due to Sonic's recent track record of mostly terrible games.
Yeah, I get it. Point is, it's one pic of a game people know nothing about. People complain about a lack of exclusives, but here comes another one and it's not good enough.

This applies to your other points as well. You don't know anything about it and it's already bad. Come on! Sega has been great to Nintendo and the Wii, but fans can't accept nice things. This applies to most 3rd party activity on the platform. When they announce a multiplatform game is also headed to the Wii, it's not good enough. When they announce exclusives for the Wii, it's still not good enough. What the f*ck do you (not you specifically) want them to do? No wonder 3rd parties don't want to make games for the Wii. How do you please an audience that isn't happy about anything, gives mixed signals, and constantly complains about whatever they can?

Anyone who hasn't already experienced it on SNES [EVER] needs to check out the DS port.
Thought I'd fix that... though I suppose those who experienced CT on PS1, really need to get the DS port.

I thought you could use almost anything as a weapon in Dead Rising, as in almost everything you can pick up.

I've never been a huge Sonic fan so what Sega does with the franchise doesn't matter much to me. I'm vexed though. It's one thing to be weary of a new Sonic title due to Sonic's recent track record of mostly terrible games. However, I'm puzzled as to why people (not necessarily here as I've been to a couple sites) are so judgmental of Sonic holding a sword based on one fuzzy cover of Nintendo Power. How is that anymore baffing than Mario using a golf club? Certainly, there's gameplay potential to be had and as long as it amounts to more than handing Shadow a glock and calling it attitude, Sega is heading in a better direction.

Still, I have to hand it to Sega for offering up yet another exclusive for the Wii. Maybe all those babies who whined that Sonic Unleashed isn't Wii exclusive, despite the fact that SU was still coming to the Wii, will finally shut the hell up. Oh wait, there's no pleasing anyone, most of all greedy fanboys.

Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, Chrono Trigger, and FFIV for me.

The last new DS game I bought was Contra 4 (I bought Elite Beat Agents used). I still have to track down The World Ends With You.

Graphics look good. I guess this is more of a remake than a port since Capcom probably had to create all the character models and levels from the ground up for the Wii. Still lame that this isn't an original game though. Oh well, it's better than not getting the game.

Hahahahahahahahahaha.... wait, you're serious. Ugh, let's.... nevermind....

Since the Wii has Bluetooth, why couldn't they just... You know... Make it possible to use Bluetooth headsets?
Oh yeah, true that. I guess they could, but they didn't. In any case, I'm not opposed to headsets, I just don't care either way.

As a matter a fact, I do. Don't hate.

A headset would kill the batteries. A wired headset would disrupt the harmony of the Wii remote and nunchuk. I can just imagine some jackass yanking off his headset tethered to the Wii remote.

8967
Yeah, E3 sucked. But ditch Nintendo all together? If I enjoyed wasting money that much I might as well give the rest of my savings to charity and live off the land like my ancestors did in the days of yore.

They're just videogames. Calm the Christ down for sobbing out loud.

Wii Speak <<<<<<<<<<<<< Promised hardcore games annoucements

Just saying.

I'm not an Animal Crossing fan so I'm not too interested in Wii Speak yet. I think it's a neat concept and probably a better solution than a headset (wired or wireless) for the Wii. Battery life and Motionplus would simply overcomplicate and ruin things. At the same time, the one game I would've wanted it for (Brawl) is not only out already, but has sh*tty online anyway. I can't imagine how much more devastating the lag would be if the game included voice chat too.

I'm still baffled that Nintendo continues to add more and more to the Wii without fixing existing problems like their crappy online structure. Wii Speak is neat-o and all, but it'll still be saddled by Friend Codes. Same goes for MotionPlus. It would've been nice (and make sense) if Nintendo got at least one 3rd party developer to come on stage at E3 with a new game that properly utilizes the peripheral. If it was a so-called hardcore game, they would've killed 3 birds with 1 stone. Maybe nothing is in the works, but isn't that the whole problem?

8969
Ehh, looks okay. I'm still baffled as to why this game is being made and not something that makes sense. Oh well, this is at least a rent for me.
But Maxim without Juste? Sure, Juste isn't unique in any way (except maybe that he's ****ing fast if you spam dashes, slides, kicks, ...) but he's still the main character.
I purposefully omitted Belmonts from my list since a lot of people can't seem to think of anyone besides Belmonts, Dracula, and Alucard.
And what do you know about Vampire blood, maybe it is super blood that cannot be bred out!
One drop blood rule. Hey, it made sense in the old South.

8970
Yeah, I don't know where that Nintendo needs to stay afloat nonsense came from. Nintendo was profitable before they started making games like Wii Sports. They never spent that much on game development, comparitively to other companies expensive games. Titles like Sports and Play simply cost even less than Zelda or Mario does.

The Wii has last gen hardware and a weird controller so what's the appeal for a dev?
Millions of units sold. Next question.
Quote
They can't design something conventional because of the controller.
Well, clearly, the controller isn't the problem if these games are getting ported. 3rd parties are figuring out some way to put these games on the Wii.

8972
You mean, the sooner 360 gets Dead Rising 2 while Wii gets Dead Rising Sports.

8973
Transforming into a wolf that plays like a gimped version of regular Link hardly qualifies as adding to the formula or offering a unique play experince. Strangely enough, you left out Wind Waker which, despite how annoying it was, added sailing which is far more than TP did for the series. Just my 2 cents though.

Yay, ports?

Has it come to this? We're praising Capcom for porting even more games onto the Wii? Funderful. I don't even want RE5 ported since I'll likely have a PS3 by then. I don't want Capcom to un-HD the graphics and add Wii Remote support to a game built for another console. I want a new game, built for the Wii. A so-called hardcore game and NOT an f-ing spin-off. Better yet, something that makes use of MotionPlus. The Wii has sold too many units for:

1. Publishers to just port old games over and call it a day.

2. Wii owners to get excited by said ports.

I can't get excited over Dead Rising coming to Wii. I bought my brother a 360 and if I really wanted, I could get Dead Rising for less than $25. Lame-o.

I'm not sure fans are asking for epic or are rejecting casual games (well at least the sane fans). I think what's frustrating for Nintendo fans is when Nintendo started pandering their franchises to the casual crowd. That's why sequels like Mario Kart Wii suck. They simplified the game specifically for people who don't know better or care. And sequels like Twilight Princess are almost parodies of what fans have been asking for. It's dark... so f*cking dark and mature... there's death and fire and cleavage... but the game is easy as hell, derivative and so long that it's boring.

Truth is, you can make an engaging game that's fun, beautiful, and original without spending millions upon millions of dollars. Does Zelda need 15 minute FMV cutscenes that take months to produce? No. Nintendo (or anyone), if they really wanted to, could easily create a deep storyline without delving into melodrama (nearly any scene involving Zelda in Twilight Princess) or insulting the audience's intelligence and they could do this without all the bells and whistles Square-Enix and Konami thinks are needed to tell a good story.
Didn't Nintendo try to cater to the hardcore audience in the final years of the Gamecube's life... ...So you can't say Nintendo didn't try...
Dude, seriously.... That's like playing hard the last minute of a game when you're already down by 40. Nintendo practically did everything they could to make hardcore and mature games fail on Gamecube... you can't chime in at the 11th hour and act like you gave a sh*t.
