Good.

Damn Sony for doing something so blatantly obvious and smart.  Why in the world was Sony allow Nintendo to have something that Sony didn't...?  No reason at all.  It was a good move.  If Sony wants to better Nintendo, they need to match them first.

If you can't get the screws off...I'm not even going to continue.  But meh, just stop with all the OS bashing, it's old.

Well, really, we get all our GCN news from the site.  This site is sort of one big GCN ad.  Neat to see what else is out there at the same time.

All the consoles are in fine supply here.  The Gamecraze here has anything I could think of pretty much.  Nice place to be.

Not if he can't move.  If the stick is mapped to the d-pad, be can't move the character.

At my school, which is located in western New York, school spirit is very lackin in school, but whenever there is a bunch of us together at a show or something, we stick together.  It may be just because we are a small school that we do this, but it is interesting.  I have never been to a show were a kid from my school didn't get in a fight, and he always has someone behind him.  Once we were at a show and someone took a cheap shot at me in a pit and I got a concussion.  Someone that I don't really get along with at all in school started hitting him in the face.  I live in a bit of an angry area so this stuff is common, but an example of school spirit, sorta.

Ahh, I just quickly read through your post.  I have always wondered at the lack of a nice co-op Mario and Luigi game on the GCN.  It would be such great fun.  It could be a little like those little teamwork levels in Mario Party, but much more developed, obviously.

Then it's whatever he wants, doesn't make much of a difference either way.  I know the tv-out for ATis is crappy, no idea on nVidias.  Not that anyone cares at this point...

Also, PC gives us the choice ot use Mouse and Keys or a controller.  Figure you buy the game, 10 dollars for the controller if it is a driving game or such that you prefer a controller.  And you are ahead money-wise.  And lag is nothing on PC.  I filter out anything above 50 to me.  Also, limiting yourself to only XBL games limits you in LAN play too.  For me, at least, I can get upwords of 20 for a LAN via PC.  For Xbox?  I think 2 or so.  Sure, you can buy 2 copies of every game, one XBL and one PC so you have all the possiblities.  And I am sure I could rent out a hall somewhere for a few hours and get 20 TVs(split screen is a waste of lan play), and get all the systems in there.  Plug it all in and pray.  But is that going to happen?  Nope.  I will stick to not limiting myself and play Diablo 2, EQ, AO, CS, NS, ET, UT, UT2k3, HLDM, Team Fortress, Day of Defeat, Raven Shield, Quake 3, JK2, Savage Eden, NFS:HPS2, NFSU, and probably more.  But wait...the cost for that is only about 24 a month.  And I never keep the AO or EQ accounts at the same time, or for more than a few months at a time.

::in a gritty pirate voice::  Y'all are thinkin' it, I'm just sayin' it, ... m3g4t0n ...

Anyway.  I really don't care for all the tons of remakes.  I have an SNES with a few Square RPGs, I have my PSX and my DC, etc.  So maybe it's just that I have plenty of RPGs for the time being.  But when I see a remake of an old game, I always pick up a newer one.  Asside from my need to own the original, I just prefer to play newer games on newer systems, and for the time being, that is all I  have time for.  I would love to see more support from Square, and I would love to see the sales of a few more games for the GCN, like any of us, but I probably wouldn't buy it at full price.  Now if Square released a new RPG that was FF or anything else and included, say, Chrono Trigger(favorite RPG of all time) or an FF or such, with preorder, well, I'd get that.

Oh, and yes, Square is pretty bad at remakes, but that was the PSX, they can be a little sloppier with the SNES games on GCN.

KDR, if you don't like what alien here likes, you are a fan boy and an idiot, so go away.

I have a vent server too, go you.  It serves its purpose well, I can hear my teammates.  I would never pay for it.  Voice masking is useless to me.

Also, if you know tcp/ip so much, then you have the extra time to learn some english, invest in a dictionary or perhaps some rudimentary grammar book.  Some typos are fine, but come on here.

The nVidia drivers for linux are much better than in windows.  If this guy as an ATi card, he gets poo linux support.  I have run them both extensivly.   UT2k4 runs perfectly on my Windows install.  I ran ut2k3 and it ran better on my windows.  It is a way to go, but way to much work for one game that runs perfectly fine on his present OS.  This obsession with linux still makes me wonder.
