And that would completely alleviate the need to point at the sensor bar.
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the wiimote is calibrated/reseted/whatever when oyu simply hold it completely still.....

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Final Fantasy III port to PS2?
« on: May 21, 2006, 06:52:18 PM »
porting would be pretty pointless, because it wouldn't look very nice......unless they're making the game in high def/poly and then porting it to the DS.....

« on: May 20, 2006, 03:38:17 PM »
it's a shame we already know the visors (and no Echo Visor! T_T)

Screw Attack earlier? excellent

at least they kept the grapple, (some) beam and missle upgrades a surprise....

I was gonna change my avatar for a SSBB Samus one, but since Mai HiME is like the greatest anime ever, I wont change it

well....maybe I'll change it for a Natsuki one! *¬*

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Metroid...at launch!
« on: May 19, 2006, 07:32:12 AM »
ohhh....I like Requiem's ideas

but what I didn't like about the interview is that they already said  that there are gonna be 4 visors, and what they do, shame

anyways, stacking beams and upgradeable grapple seem really promising

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Wii gets full SNK support?
« on: May 18, 2006, 06:44:30 PM »
It's odd, but besides being barely improved year after year, I love most of SNK games.....maybe it's the characters?
oh well, if we get a KOF Collection I would be very happy ^^ (despite having my ass handed in a silver plate in most of them ¬¬)

I have one question, why would one need the shell for SSBB? the SSB games always used the stick and four buttons....

Terry Bogard on SSBB FTW!

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Wii's hardware
« on: May 18, 2006, 06:37:38 PM »
you know, I'm kinda concerned about that too, since I'm also overprotective of my games (afterall, they're really expensive here, and not many people often go to the US....)

actually, I'm more concerned of how it will handle GC games (since most slot-loading drives accept 12cm CD/DVD only) :S

Nintendo Gaming / RE: d-pad wiimote change
« on: May 18, 2006, 06:30:32 PM »
the only problem that I see with it is that you could accidentally press a button you don't intend to (like trying to press one of the arrows and end up pressing the A button) which could complicate the nongamer crowd, afterall, it does happen to my dad with the DVD Player remote......

om a side note, I would like that one or one some what similar...

1843
oh, so that's why the PSP fails, they're giving it away to the nongamer crowd....

oh well, that should be better......unless the HDD is over $100......

nevertheless, is odd to see Sony going back and forth with these things, maybe we wont know what's upgradeable and what's not until launch day

SB: yeah, I thought of those movements as I was writing.
But the thing is, he has only those, then he uses guns, which if you remember Sakurai isn't very fond of (as evidenced by the fact that Snake is going to use explosives.....instead of the gun he uses in the MG games....). The point was that Jill already has a non weapon based moveset, that could fit somewhat with the SSB universe (yeah, one is a Firefox clone and the others are zombie and Tyrant summons, but still.....) so she may be easier to add to the game.

yep, and Jill as well, which I see more probable as she already has a fighter-game moveset created that could very well apply to SSBB (the MvC2 one), unlike Leon who has....well, nothing

I found the "updating games" things pretty interesting....
(although the GBC-->GBA thing seems pretty pointless, I'd rather have GBC-->DS........but that case would be more difficult to do...)

I wonder, which games are they wanting to upgrade?
