I hope you find a market for this and continue to produce them.  I'm interested, but this version is a bit too small for my needs, so I hope you find success so you can expand the line a little.  A double-sized version would be better for me.  Alternatively, if you sold the pages separately, and they could fit into a standard 2-ring binder, I'd buy a bunch of those.

Huh?  Didn't Tetris DS come out for $20?  Did I get an Amazing Deal at Best Buy without even realizing it?

What surprises me most about this whole thing is that I reached 1000 posts before Khushrenada did, considering how much he likes to hear himself talk, or see himself post, or whatever.

Beef is too expensive to waste in Hamburger Helper.

Nominations for the weekly Hot Pocket:
Pepperoni Pizza - the all-time most popular.
Ham & Cheese - the least creative.
Philadelphia Cheese Steak - my favorite, particularly in the Croissant Pocket variety.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Wii's wifi antenna sucks

A friend of mine had to use a USB cable to move his dongle out from behind his PC (relative to his Wii).  Apparently, some hardware was disrupting the signal.  Our best guess is that it was his 19" CRT monitor.

Come to think of it, any of you having trouble might want to check whether your TV, if it's a CRT, is between your Wii and your access point.

Craig's.  I know that because I stumbled across it while looking him up on Wikipedia because I was trying to remember who the editor of IGN Pocket was.

I tried to warn him about combat with a mod.  Also, I'd like to take a moment to thank Sir_Stabbalot for giving me an excuse to parody his own thread like I wanted to before it was completely forgotten.  I dedicate this thread in honor of his memory.

Pfff.  I've had both of those for a long time, too.  The title is a mark of honor.  Mine was actually changed to this from something else.

And I hate everyone with more than one line in their signature.  I include the "-------------------------" in that assessment.

If we're playing the uninformed prediction game, I'll play.  When sales start to taper off,Nintendo will first release the black Wii at the same price.  No less than six months later, they'll release more colors and drop the price at the same time.  I also think that when the new colors hit, they'll pack in Wii Sports and Wii Play on one disc.  If they ever stop bundling a game, it'll happen when they reach $99, but I'm not so sure they'll ever drop to that point if the Wii stays popular.  It was sort of a desperation move with the Gamecube.

Seriously, what has happened to Sir_Stabbalot today? Every time I see him in a thread or such he's pretending to be some kind of Roman guy and complaining about furries. What the hell? Sir_Stabbalot is a spammer. He spams the board with blank topics, not contributing constructively and screaming. Sir_Stabbalot uses poor punctuation and spelling, leaving out apostrophes at a "moments notics." If Sir_Stabbalot got into combat with a mod, chances are Sir_Stabbalot would be banned easily. He should have one specific thread to post in, not spam up an entire forum.

I'm no expert in Sir_Stabbalot history, but it just makes no sense. Is it just me, or has Warhammer 40K seemed to have totally ruined the common sense of Sir_Stabbalot?

My handle is shortened from Ultimate Party Bear, which comes from an inside joke that involves Battlefield 1942 and Sealab 2021.  I only started using it online because my preferred name, which is based on a lifelong nickname that I used to hate but eventually embraced, is always taken.  Always.  Except here, oddly enough, on the one site I use the Party Bear one instead.

I took the plunge and bought Odin Sphere.  I played it last night, but didn't have enough time to get far at all.  It certainly is beautiful.  The story is presented in such an over-serious way that it's almost funny, though.

I'm considering Red Star, but only if I can convince a friend to play through it with me.  Such games are only really worth playing co-op.

The fact that Kaplan and co were not offered more incentive to relocate to the point where they stayed on board transcends all assumption.

If Nintendo wanted Kaplan and co to stay, they could have simply said, "What will it take to convince you to come with us?"

Furthermore, why was the move done in the first place? What was the official reason?

What if her answer to that question was unreasonable or exceeded her value to the company, whatever it might be?  What if she simply didn't want to leave Redmond?  What if aliens are responsible?  This is still technically a rumor.  There is no official word at all.

To me, it sounds more like the move was a vastly unpopular and probably unwise decision, perhaps made by someone with pointy hair.  That is infinitely more believable than all these conspiracy theories.

Your opinion is no more valid than the opposing side's opinion. That's all I'm saying. This isn't about being "witty" as you say. I just think it's all kind of pointless.

I am also not making an argument for or against Halo or Mario, but I'm doing it by not stringing everyone along with lots of pointless posts.

Put another way, if it's all pointless, why are you still talking?

Edit: That kind of makes me sound peeved, but I'm not.

I'm all for fairness. I'm simply saying that Nintendo should be held up to the same standards as everyone else. And the truth is, despite all this complaining, Konami released some great, original Castlevania titles on Nintendo hardware. Everyone forgets that and focuses on PR from an interview. That's ridiculous. If GBA/DS received no Castlevania titles and IGA said all that, I would see a reason for all this. But that's not the case at all.

That's not even remotely what people are upset about.  He's implying that we might not get any more Castlevania games.  We're not the right audience for them, after all.

Besides that, his statements are demonstrably boneheaded, and there's nothing wrong with pointing that out and laughing at him.

There is no basis for that assumption.

On a lighter note, Perrin Kaplan's name always sounded like Klingon to me.  I'll miss that.

6.25% for the state, plus 2% local.  No income tax, though, and I'm thankful that trying to create one is still political suicide.

This is going to change most of the public face of Nintendo.  I wonder if it will cause a big difference in the way Nintendo comes across to us, or will the source of Nintendo's PR tendencies be revealed to be NCL when the new faces say the same old things?

The Harrison interview link is borken.
