Have you actually played FFXII?

They also gave 40/40 to Zelda OoT, Zelda WW, and Soul Caliber.  They must all suck because famitsu doesn't know what they are talking about.

Warner Brothers has already followed suit.  They have quietly cancelled all their upcoming UMD releases.  Fox I've heard is still trying just like Sony.  Haven't heard anything about Disney yet though.

The best part about that statement is that Splinter Cell is a Tom Clancy game.  They use that name WAY too much.  They are as bad at Nintendo at slapping Mario or Metroid on everything.

Looks like Pokemon Rangers is starting out with 193,000 sales in its first week.  Animal Crossing WW is still a juggurnaut with 82,000+ sold and Brain Training 1 & 2 continue to sell well.

Guess it's another week of huge DS and DSL sales in Japan.

Looks like a worldwide launch is a possibility after all.  A Nintendo spokeperson states Iwata-san was taken out of context.

FYI, you can finish Metroid Prime 1 in under 5 hours.  Some have done it in less than 2 hours.  I didn't think backtracking was a problem at all.  It was fun actually.

Makes you wonder if they are going to increase the amount of internal flash memory on the system then.  If the CD games are available, each of those can be more than 512MB.  I can't wait to try some of those PC Engine games.  I always wanted a TurboGraphix16 and never had the money at the time.  Now I can get them for much cheaper along with Genesis/NES/SNES/N64 games.  Here's hoping Saturn/32X games are available as well.

I'd like to mention that it's very unlikely for us to see Jaguar or CD-i(zelda CD-i anyone?) or Saturn games because they were CD based and Nintendo is looking at smaller gamefile sizes from what they have said about the PSP's download service.  Hopefully, though, they will include PC Engine CD stuff and that will open the door for Saturn/CD-i/Jaguar as well.

There are new games coming...wait til E3!!!  Been waiting to say that.

I think there will be new games...even if they have a familiar franchise attached to them.  Sometimes Nintendo thinks it'll be easier to sell a new concept with a familiar face.  We'll just have to wait and see.
