So I talked to a Nintendo representative (a number I got from the corporate pages on Nintendo.com), and he said he's never heard of such a thing.

Pro, do you know something I don't?

I swear it was here that I heard about a reward.

Couple days ago I saw a kiosk of a N64 type controller hooked up to a tv. It was in one of those islands in the mall and it was running all sorts of old school Nintendo classics. Now, this wasn't the first time I've seen one of these things, but it was the first time I've seen one since I heard Nintendo will pay people to tell them about it.

First off...is that even true? I heard it here a long ass time ago (back in the Don'tHate days), so I guess it stuck with me. Can I really get money just by telling them the exact location of such a distributor?

Secondly, how do I go about it? Do I call them or what?

Any help would be appreciated (i'm looking at you Kiaron (( I think it was you that mentioned it before)))

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL Unless this is a joke, it's obvious you have no idea what anti-matter is.

Wow....

That was one of the geekiest things I have ever read on these forums, if not ever.

If it's on rails, then wouldn't it be like House of the Dead from sega?

If so, then I'm fine with that. I love that game.

I guess....

I'm actually very disappointed that it's FPV. Over-the-shoulder worked so well that it's a shame it's leaving so soon.

I see Miyamoto putting out a Wiimote-gun-holster. Why? Well first of all they already made a prototype. Secondly, on-rail shooters would work perfectly for the Wii.

The only problem with Wii FPS's so far is the turning, and that God-forsaken bounding box. Putting a shooter on-rails eliminates both problems.

Plus, who wouldn't buy Time Crisis 4 or anyone of Sega's fantastic on-rail shooters?

You've obviously never seen P-Diddy dance. He sucks ass.

But yes, as a black person, I can say without any prejudice that black people do have excellent rhythm.

"Good thing too, Rock and Hip-Hop both need a swift kick in the pants. Who better than these two groups? "

This is another reason why I am excited. I have seen real talented hip-hop and rock in a while (more so hip-hop).

I guess noone here likes their music....

What a shame. This is the best news I've heard all year. A band that I never thought would get back together and a band that I've always wanted to see live is getting back together. And their playing with the Wu-tang clan, a rap outfit that I've always been a fan of.

How f@cking outrageous.

I think it would be awesome if a SplinterCell type Ninja game came out with Co-op.

Like, both players most protect each other while using the cooperation between them to infiltrate places and assassinate people. For example, you use a grappling hook to climb up a wall. The rope is only strong enough for one, so the other must wait until the first person climbs to the top. While at the top, the player who went first must protect his fellow Ninja as he attempts to climb up. If he fails to, the enemy will sever the rope and kill his partner.

So true...

However, it is the absolute best if you save right before you face the two Iron Knuckles that guard the entrance to Ganondorf and the final battle. You don't know how many times I fought those Knuckles. If you hit the both and use your Master Sword, it can get pretty challenging.

Ya....no way did all those dudes have chizzeled abs (see that dude from LOTR with an 8-pack?!). You could tell when they showed the soldiers sideways. CG is a motherf@cker.

No. People are buying it because the commercial shows a dude throw a dumpster at some gangster.

The power of TV.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Wii to feature same online structure as the DS
« on: March 15, 2007, 07:45:03 PM »
Regardless if I use it or not is beyond the point. It still ticks me off. Why? Because in the damn interview, the GameSpy Rep said Nintendo could have done online the right way, the way Viewtiful is arguing towards. However, Nintendo decided to be stubborn, and for what? To make us tediously have fun with friends online?

Furthermore, it counter-acts Nintendo's "make everything as easy and as simple as possible" philosophy. People are going to look at the Wiimote, and be like "wow, what a simple yet intriguing device", then look at the online infrastructure and be like "wait....WTF do I do?"

There's no f%cking reason why Nintendo should screw this up.

Also, using the 360 as an excuse for Nintendo NOT to do online right is a pretty lame excuse. You say only a margin of 360 owner's go online? Have you ever thought why that is? More importantly, have you ever thought that it was the 360 and not the "online-part" at fault?

Wow Viewtiful....

That was a wii-bit aggressive, but you have a point. However, I'm going to think the worse of this situation simply because I don't want to get my hopes up.

I would like to state that in my hometown (a big college town mind you) there are no Wiis in stock.

It's actually quite sad .

I'm still Wii-less.

What? Where? This was posted by Falafelkid yesterday.

The only thing that scares me about this is if we get several games that are online masterpieces. It wouldn't be so bad if we just had a couple games to worry about. However, if online really takes hold, we would have go through the same motions for every game we play. That's just tedious.

And what if I met an opponent that I really like to play? How do I play them again later? What if I want to play them in something else? Is that even possible?

Nintendo could kill all reason to own a 360 if they get their sh@t together.

This is som-ol-bullsh*t. The most depressing fact is that the Gamespy rep even said a UNIFIED CODE was possible but that Nintendo made all codes game specific.

WTF?!

I'm with Strell and Smoke. Microphone games just sound terrible in my opinion.

The only potential a microphone has is for communicating with other people. Not Wii Karaoke or Harry Potter.
