In Brawl you can still roll up to the stage, but you do it simply by pressing L/R. I don't like this, the other way makes more sense, L/R is a guard not role and they should have just enabled both.

All you had to do to roll while getting on the stage in Melee was press L or R.
I used to press the stick towards the stage, you cannot do that in brawl. It won't work at ALL. This is the nit pick thread.
