Nintendo Gaming / Gamespot can go to hell
« on: March 22, 2003, 03:31:42 PM »
yes well, they arn't nintendo owned magazines now are they.

ugh fanboys? i take offence to that, i just found it a bit silly how a game thats supposed to be better than another got a lower score than it

no, i didn't say that, i just look at his age, 13 a very impresionable age, and the fact ps2 doesn't exactly have alot of "fun" titles, hence my deduction

i didn't say it was bad or wrong to have a ps2 (or any console) just stated my opinion that he probably got it to be cool, i could be completly wrong how ever

Nintendo Gaming / Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron III CONFIRMED
« on: March 22, 2003, 02:51:51 PM »
more space missions, i was disapointed that the 64 version didn't have any,  the ones in the gamecube version were nice, but i want some like in Xwing / Xwing vs Tie Fighter for the pc, would be a dream for me

« on: March 20, 2003, 11:59:00 PM »

this is no big deal for me, a quick call or email or what ever to NOAus and im set

Nintendo Gaming / Pokemon 3d online rpg?
« on: March 19, 2003, 10:24:10 PM »
well, some of the pokemon fanbase (the original r/b players) would have grown up a bit now (for example, me) so perhaps it would be entirely filled with bratty little kids (why does the idea of reducing little kids to tears with my ph33rsome snorlax's attacks seem so apealing? )
having said this i would still prefer an offline version

i agree with what ian sane says totally, love the series, but dislike yellow/stadium (i did play it as a means to save batteries )

best way todo it would have optional gba link up where by any pokemon you catch/train and badges/items etc found in the GCN version you could save to your Ruby/Saphire character, so you could be at home play your character in a full 3d world, then take your character with you on your gba and continue with it elsewhere.

would be a magical combination and i dare say not to difficult to achieve, i mean if they can have an enormous central area in The Wind Waker surely they could make the pokemon world on GCN big enough to never get sick of seeing one area (unless that area happens to contain a hard to catch pokemon you spend days trying to catch ^_^)

Nintendo Gaming / Grand Theft Auto3 - Going to GBA!
« on: March 19, 2003, 03:05:54 PM »
i was thinking a few months ago they could port gta 1 and or 2 to gba, specially considering gta 1 looks like a gameboy game anyway (in my opinion)

but omg sif gta3 would be on gameboy slap yourselfs in the face with a game manual for beliving it

Nintendo Gaming / shadow link
« on: March 19, 2003, 02:54:59 PM »
for someone called dark-link you should know that

for ages i found queen ghoma hard cause i forgot to use the slingshot to stun her, i was using deku nuts takes like 10 times longer, she recovers and goes back to the roof like 4-5 times instead of beating her in like 20 seconds using the slingshot

1) i wasn't bashing, just pointing out a fact
2) i thought it was common knowledge release dates go NTSC first then a few months later PAL
3) theaveng fix your netconnection or what ever mr 5 posts

i belive its good that there isn't cd/dvd playback in the gamecube for a few reasons
1) a waste of money if you already have a dvd player
2) the ps2 (not sure about xbawx) dvd player isn't that great
3) keeps the gamecube smaller
etc etc, i prefer hardware specific devices (cd players for cds, dvd players for dvds, gamecubes for games) as they are optimised for said mediums, not generalised to acomidate all of them

i almost bought fusion last week (i love pay day) but for some reason a greater force compelled me to get Golden Sun instead, which im loving (upto the cursed forest thingy, stupid idiots cutting the trees down) but yesh yesh, getting fusion in about 6-7 hours from now, depends how fast i can walk from woolies to myer heheh, might even get a gba/gc cable while im at it, maybe not

haha yeah, im going to goto the store before it opens so i can get my zelda before anyone! wont be able todo that with metroid =\ i stupidly pre ordered it where mum works, and now that i work, i cant really go there =\ so i better have a full day at work so i have something to take my mind off "metroid is out... why arnt' i playing it? where is metroid, ill bet everyone else is playing it, loving it too, why oh why cant i play it " etc
