General Chat / RE: Problem with my new optical mouse.
« on: November 17, 2003, 07:57:09 PM »
well, my plan was to still have a red circle at the bottom of the mouse, so not to screw with the IR, i just wanted to change the colour of the plastic at the back, maybe to blue perspecs, so the red light shining through would go purple or something

my hand feels dirty, filthy microsawft.

you don't have mario kart, or mario and luigi, f-zero gx has ALOT more pollish and shine than mario kart, and i think its better than wind waker also.

billy hatcher > you

you decide, number of 'bad' reviews so far is 2 (7.9 isn't really that bad) number of reviews over 90% is 15, if you liked mario kart 64 you will like double dash.

get both ;P

254
oh right :\ that's understandable then.

yeah, you can't just blanketly lay rules on all video games, things work in some games of the same/similar genre and don't work in others, it's what keeps games different from each other, some games i don't mind backtracking (super metroid and metroid prime are two examples) especially if when backtracking you notice a secret or can reach a secret you wern't able to before (again, like metroid) and some games it's a total pain.

either way halo 2 isn't out yet

i'm so over mario kart, that was SO last week </onlychancetostickittoNTSCpeopleforgettingagamefirst>

agreement ++ on the topic, but i still use all my original systems, i only own mario advance 1 (aka mario 2) and i never play that, i have the super mario allstars version that and i don't like the GCN control for OoT / MQ (despite being ready to fight to get it ) put chronotrigger on GCN via any means possible, and it will rocket to #1 favorite, at the moment it's sitting at #2 behind SNES and ahead of GBA

edit: oh yeah, when i first saw the thread title, i figured you had account suicided

i've got even more stuff/crap now http://www.jaran.de/piac/twomonitors.jpg and a Sega Megadrive II (aka Genesis) and i cleaned the pool table off, now it's playable!

266
Billy Hatcher is great, no question about it, it's also totally kiddy, and that is a compliment, the gameplay is different, yet still an objective based platformer (ala Mario 64) no overworld to wander around in though, just worlds with levels. i find the music awsome, especially the two demo movie (when you leave it idle at the start screen) songs, pure gold. this is one game where the sunny side is up

i own all the games you are contimplating getting, and personally i find F-Zero (goty anyone?) and Billy Hatcher to be the best of the lot, allthough ALL those games are awsome and worth purchasing, depends what genre you want

it's not that complicated

8 point hub - $70-$90 dollars
cable (depending on length) - $10 for 10 metres (roughly)
BBA (my guess) - $70

see, not that much of an expence, also ask some PC gaming friends and they will prolly lend you a hub/cable etc.

...my keyboard is filthy :\

268
you don't look in stores and notice games that are there and ones that arn't?

269
billy hatcher, because i said so and..... SSX3 i guess, but get 1080 instead i would write a longer impression about BH, but mario has heard most of it on MSN

270
no it's not. as for a release date, no idea :\ i wish it was out though.
