Nintendo Gaming / RE: Metroid Fusion Control Issue
« on: June 18, 2003, 08:23:09 PM »
yeah i was wondering the same thing actually, it does seem rather strange, i didn't like having to hold R to shoot missiles, but i grew used to it, but the controlls could have been handled a little differently (well tbh they were handled differently, they shouldn't have been rehandled at all )

i support the artists by buying cds cause the ones i like most of them arn't anywhere near being millionairs, and they work damn hard, i own no burnt cds and im rather proud of that.

true gamers chose them because they satisfy their gameing needs, casual gamers get the ps2 because everyone else does, xbawx isn't that much more popular than GCN so they are pretty much the same

Xbawx is technilogically superior of the 3 consoles, but unless its implemented correctly you can get PS2 games looking better.

all in all people chose the variying consoles for various reasons. theres no hardline rules defineing why people buy things.

oh yeah, shinobi is at the top of my list, i played that at... some guys house cant remmeber who (wasn't a friend at any rate) and it was awsome

i really need a new controller too, the a/start button its wacky, it goes in too far or something and its hella not responsive, even for an old school controller, the B button by comparison is much better

no need to get nintendo involved, it doesn't damage your controller, its not even a violent twist, it only moves a milimetre or two and its fixed, its awsome!

General Chat / RE: US government wants to destroy your computer?
« on: June 17, 2003, 10:22:07 PM »
my feelings on the US government aside, thats really laughable thats basically a childish threat wrapped in attempted importance, 'if you dont go away ill hack you!' - a random guy on irc 'if you download music ill blow up your computer' - a US senitor

how pathetic (mmm australia is looking pretty good right now )
