I'm sorry but I don't know what was so good about this game..

granted, I never played it

but the graphics looked like crap, the story was stupid, and the gameplay looked dumb too.

Neadless to say I am not looking forward to this game at all.

I wish I could add something to this but I really don't have anything new that I haven't already said.  The only thing left is I could say in a way, this is kinda of a good thing.  It's a good thing cause i'm sure Nintendo will win the case.  but...

The more people that buys the system, the more likely something stupid like this would happen.  The more poeple that buys the system, the more stupid stories were going to hear.  This just means there are more and more systems ending up in peoples hands.

I'm sure the more people look at it, all they are going to ask themselves is......well, if you just held onto the controller, wouldn't everything be ok?

What's really odd is......there are some games on PS3 that use their crap tilt sensor......and for some reason nobody has thrown their controller into the wall?  why does this only occur with Wii.......popularity....and Wii haters.

given popularity, that is, if Wii becomes popular enough, chances are she will eventually try it to see what it's all about.  Then she will assertain if it really is fun or not.......to her.

well it is a little considering this is more than a month after the console has launched, I can't believe the people who have to have one, waited a month to find someone to beat up for one.  The only reason would be if you have your thumb up your ass for a month, waited till the last min. to find one, and even then.......you got there late and got at the back of the line.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: North America Wii Restock?
« on: December 17, 2006, 12:19:27 PM »
I don't understand the "re-release", i've never seen that before with any other consoles.  They would just put them out and if you were lucky to be in the right place at the right time......you could pick one up.  Does this constant "re-release" method cause more hype or is it truely a "fare" way to allow everyone a chance to get a system?

I don't know....it sounds like it may have been exagerated a little bit.  Plus, it was kinda dumb for a girl to go get something like that all alone when there's gonna be a crap load of guys...Guys who have no life or girlfriend

Nintendo Gaming / RE:I think I know why Nintendo is holding back VC games
« on: December 17, 2006, 06:55:15 AM »
ok, let me offer a rebuttle for the above statement...

first of all, the license that you buy on your Wii is more limited to that what you get at a used game store.  If you buy games online and download them...then get tired of them, you can't sell them.  With a used game it has value and can therefor be sold again.  As well as you can only play your VC games on the one and only Wii that you downloaded them to, i'll admit that isn't that big of deal considering most of us don't play retro games on different systems.

second is used game store can't make the games....as we all know.  If they only released so many games on the system, the less there are the more valueble that game is, and as time goes on the stock pile of those games will only go down since they never make anymore.  Not to mention that these games at used stores cost what they do because of course....they buy them from people.....so they have to of course charge even more than that to make a profit, again, we all know this....I'm not trying to say no body is aware of this but I only say this cause it brings me to the third.....

which is third, ALL money that nintendo gets from VC sales is profit....period.  There is no cost of manufacturing or parts, and for nintendo and third parties, this is a second chance to make money on a product that is done and over.  So to argue that Nintendo for some reason must charge near the same for them in a used store is stupid.  From a marketing standpoint in my opinion, the best thing you want to do is sell it at the lowest cost possible that everyone is willing to pay.  All you have to do is look at wal-mart and know that this method in fact does work.

So in my personal opinion, I do believe if you were to lower the cost of VC games, given the choice between used games and VC, I'm sure if the cost difference is fair enough rather than close to the same, people would go with a clear choice of downloading it at a lower cost.  After all, I'm sure Nintendo would rather make some money than no money, cause of course they make no money if someone buys it used.  Plus if you can get 2 games for 6 dollars, or just 1 game for 5.  Clearly the 2 games for 6 is a win win situation, even though it's only a dollar more, you take and add it up and I believe they would make more money than their method currently.

You know, I keep saying the best way to handle this would be a boycot.
On the pricing that is.  If people were to all of a sudden stop buying Wii points cause of the overpricing of games.  I'm sure we would see them come down.

However, I have to say even 3 or 4 new games a week is a lot more than Xbox Live Arcade....however, the small amount of VC games at launch was inexcusable.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Nintendo Recalls ~3.2 Million Controller Straps
« on: December 15, 2006, 04:35:30 PM »
I would really like to see some hard evidence showing how these "old" wrist straps are somehow faulty.  I would like to see some bench test to how much force exactly is needed to break the old strap, you know what, for all these babies claiming the strap is bad, no one has done a bench test.  I'm sure if you did a bench test it would clearly show that you need a crap load of force exerted to break a strap.

Really, how much force do you need to send a Wii mote "THREW" a television, and I don't mean the plastic on a rear projection.  I'm talking about a glass tube tv.  People that is an extreamly high amount of force.

So what I want to see are some credible bench test studies....maybe Mythbusters on discovery channel?

Nintendo Gaming / RE:Wii Manufacturing Costs vs PS3
« on: December 14, 2006, 03:21:31 PM »
ahh....if it cost 800 dollars to make a PS3, they arn't loseing 400 a system, 500, and 600....thats what a PS3 cost people.  Now, whats it's really worth is a lot less than that.

I really don't think thats a good idea without permission, it could be a criminal offense, kinda like stealing cable
I would ask your neighbors if it's ok that you connect to their network rather than sponge off of it without permission.

total cost - $0.05 tops

your cost - $14.00

dude, thats like almost 2 virtual console games, or almost 3 NES games

Even better than that is the fact that you can download those two south park episodes with the Wii, on to your Xbox 360 off of Xbox Live.......Classic

honestly, considering how PS1 games cost 6 dollars to download on PS3, Nintendo really should lower the cost, and we should all boy-cot virtual console downloads until they do.

How about that, 3 weeks after the Wii launch.....VC games at launch are finally NOT considered "new"
