I got a question.....What kind of water was she drinking, bottled water, or tap water

I'm going to guess bottled water, and i've never been a fan of bottled water so i'm going to say that the bottled water is the company that needs to be sued

« on: January 07, 2007, 09:50:59 AM »
i say just save your money of gamecube hi-def cables, and get a wii and hi-def cables

then you can play all your gamecube games in progressive scans, well, the ones that support it

Nintendo Gaming / RE:How do I setup Wii sports for multiplayer scores?
« on: January 07, 2007, 09:47:17 AM »
it will keep track of their skill level as long as the Mii is on your internal memory, if your playing one from a controller it doesn't

as for all your gamescores from games like bowling, i don't think it goes that far, i does remember how many matches you have faught or played before you became pro.....if you ever reach that level

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Wii + Cell Phone + Bluetooth = I need an SD Card?
« on: January 06, 2007, 07:33:55 AM »
i think you would prefer to do it by SD card cause i understand it takes a long time to transfer by blutooth.....thats just what i've heard, i don't use blutooth devices so someone correct me if you want

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Wiimote battery life?
« on: January 05, 2007, 08:00:03 AM »

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Porn sites supporting the Wii!!
« on: January 03, 2007, 05:13:21 PM »
So porn picks HD-DVD over blu-ray

and now picks Wii, makes sense, I mean the name "Wii" sounds porn related in the first place

Nintendo Gaming / Perfect batteries for your Wii
« on: January 03, 2007, 05:10:32 PM »
http://usbcell.com

You can buy two USB AA batteries for 20 bucks
A little expensive but the really cool thing is, you recharge them by popping off the top of the battery and plugging them into any USB port.

How cool would that be to plug your two batteries into the back of your Wii to recharge?

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Wii play Audio CDs?
« on: January 03, 2007, 08:06:17 AM »
well, the first thing the Wii does is exactly what the gamecube does when you put a cd in....it spins at a low speed to read the special bar-code on the center ring of the disk to know that it's a disk for wii or not.
so you would have to get past that part to even think about reading other types of disk

and i'm sure the laser lens in the wii is a dvd laser, considering it would probley cost a lot more to design and manufacture a costom, pro-prietary laser lens.  Thats basically what blu-ray is, and look how much that drove up the ps3

and last, just want to point out that the mp3 player in the photo channel is a software based mp3 player.  Cause I have mp3's that will play on excite truck but not the photo channel

I think the Wii could play DVD movies if it wanted to, but for a device to play DVD movies you have to pay 20 dollars in royalties to whoever owns the patent on that technology.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Wii Zelda is Reversed?
« on: January 02, 2007, 02:34:29 PM »
lets remember, if the Wii version came out and we never saw the gamecube version....nobody would be bitching about this,  It was a quick easy changeup between versions so you could technically have a different gaming experience on the cube version

right hand, left hand....take your pick, and pick your system

over and done with

646
you have to admit though, if you could go out, buy a Wii, and take it home and right out of the box play Wii Sports, and play online with friends and others.  That would have been a very powerful sale.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Is Blockbuster Wiitarded . . . .
« on: January 02, 2007, 04:21:41 AM »
thats kinda messed up if you think about it cause they let you download and print off some of their game manuals off the internet, and I called them one time to ask if I could copy the cover of my games incase the ever got ruined I would have a back-up.  They said they don't give out permission to do it but at the same time they didn't care if I did it.

The Wiimote myth has already been submitted to mythbuster's, by me and many others.  So we'll see if they take it up.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Wii Strap Break Test
« on: January 01, 2007, 04:56:04 PM »
well, since i was thinking velocity instead of acceleration, my numbers might be wrong then.  Even though I would like to think i'm at least close to being correct.  So my question is, how much acceleration or velocity is required to apply 28 pds to a Wii strap with 1/2 pd on the end of it?

Nintendo Gaming / RE: When do you strap your Wii?
« on: January 01, 2007, 04:12:16 PM »
I don't use mine, only on rare occasions if my hands feel sweaty or slippery and i'm playing tennis or baseball.  Not for a game like Zelda or Excite Truck
