TalkBack / Re: Wii U Pro Controller Impressions

since pro controllers are suppossed to replace gamepads, just without touchscreens, that would be a terrible move for them to not include the rumble and gyro sensors

TalkBack / Re: Wii U Frame Rate Drops When Using Multiple GamePads
« on: June 05, 2012, 03:20:06 PM »
I would have thought the support for multiple gamepads was a communication limitation instead of a hardware processing power limitation.  I would think it would have been better to have the gamepads have chips and processors to process some of that data so it wasn't so much work for the console.
Have they stated how the Gamepad connects to the WiiU, is it blutooth like wii remotes?

two things.  Why did they have the WiiU controller plugged in, and do the figures respond by touch screen or RF somehow

Why am I limited to 1 letter or number on the folders. We don't have the technology for more than 1 character on a folder?

Pikmin 2 was a super awesome game that i don't think enough people got to play.  Best part was the space ship that named all the treasures you find

If you got to play it for 5 min you'd realize your better without it.  The best game was turtles 3: The Manhattan Project.  What's sad is this makes certain we'll never see turtles 3 on VC

I'm all for virtual console games for 150 coins. I was limiting myself to one last month cause I was waiting to see what there would be this month. Now I wish I bought Kirby last month

The choices have taken a 50% cut. Last month we had 4 different ones to choose

We as consumers should fight against the nickle and diming of gamers, and not buy any of this crap.  Ohh, $10 of real money to buy fake money in an imaginary world.  The only people I wanna slap across the face more than the developers are the people who buy this crap

Cloud gaming is garbage. Ohh, internet's down?  Cool, I'll just play ABSOLUTLY NOTHING AT ALL now. Why would anyone want such a service?

I think it's closer to 20% in general terms.  The 6x figure probably was based on an idea of just clock cycles or polygon count, which isn't the best judge by itself of a systems performance.  There's other system resources like HD resolutions that have to be taken into account.

Maybe if it's gonna run PONG it'll be 6x as powerful

I was looking at http://e3.nintendo.com at the specs for WiiU and noticed something I never seen or heard before. For memory storage it says it'll have internal memory and can be expanded by SD memory card OR USB Hard drive

Am I the only one who didn't know about the external hard drive option on the WiiU?

Have we thought about the idea the "Nintendo Network" may just be their idea of a "Marketplace". They may still use the name "Nintendo Wi-Fi" to symbolize their online service and "Nintendo Network" be the marketplace to buy more game content on "Nintendo Wi-Fi". Instead of the old system of orange and blue Wi-Fi logos

TalkBack / Re: GBA Ambassador Games Available Everywhere
« on: December 17, 2011, 03:11:57 AM »
I stand corrected. After comparison of GBA SP (lower powered backlight version) and same game running on 3DS. The clear winner is 3DS. Ever so slightly blurry, but the color looks better on 3DS.

When compared to DS lite it is very close to call, and comes down to personal preference.

Am I the only person who thinks the colors look a little washed out on GBA titles. It must be the larger screen and different resolutions

Does anyone know, can you transfer your DSiWare purchases to another DSi?

The new DSi XL is coming out and I'm a little worried my purchases are going to go down the drain

I'm not sure if it's deleted off of my system memory, but it's still on my SD card and shows up in the SD card menu...It just tells me that the channel can't be launched on this wii system
