i wonder if more news pieces like these are gonna be popping up, I've heard that the industry is looking to consolidate its numerous devs to increase profits......

I hope some of those profits find their way into the actual employees hands, seeing as how I'm getting into the field.

Tournament failed, but it turned into a NWR meet-up, only with record keeping with the tourney site.

So today we had Thatguy hitting double digit wins first in the tourney but failing short at hitting number 11 against Shecky!  I however went 2-0 on Shecky until he pulled a Gengar in our third match, where he went off from there and beat Thatguy twice in a row!  Caliban got some tough losses to Thatguy but edged me out.  Here is todays entire matches in reverse order:

i hope Ty does respond back to me, cause i got some other ideas for a tourney that would need its own forum thread.  I have an idea to have a draft!  Basically each person gets to name one pokemon for their team until the other entrants pick theirs, then you get to pick your second pokemon.  This means nobody is allowed to use a Charizard for example if someone else is already using it.  Think of it as a fantasy draft.

not much has changed, I wanted to implement Shecky's idea of posting your teams but keeping one Pokemon a secret but Ty hasn't responded back to my request of having our own Thread for the tournament.

Today's Tournament is as follows:

Round 1-3:  4 vs 4 (Singles) LV 50 mode
Round 4-5:  4 vs 4 (Doubles) LV 50 mode

again no legendaries, items are allowed, etc.

I'm sorry, Sony could redesign the PSP to give my hands orgasms but I still wouldn't buy one.  The only decent game I've played on it is Lumines, and i still prefer Meteos and Tetris over it.

I'm pretty sure Halo is not the fastest selling game, maybe for xbox though.  As for the Wii cutting it's price, i wouldn't recommend it at this point.  I say let the competitors drop in price to compete first, then wait to see if you even need to make a move.

im not gonna perfectly EV my pokemon, as I have no idea how many crap EV I've gotten, and how many stat decreasing berries I would need to offset them and such.

And just as a reminder Pokemon Tournament tommorow, 6-9-07, @ 8:15pm EST and 5:15pm Pacific.

This isnt a game for kids, politicians should spend their time on more important things like keeping child predators behind bars.  I haven't played this game or the original but I'd still argue that it wouldn't cause anyone to go kill a person.

Did we see a increase in turtle deaths in the 90's?  Or one too many kids getting stuck in pipes, thinking they would warp somewhere?

The DS is gonna get all the RPG lovin, it beats the Wii easily, and already has Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy Tactics A-2, and even Disgaea lined up.

As much as I'd like to see RPG's come back to a Nintendo home console, the handhelds will have to do......for now.

wow, that bit of news took me off guard.  Well, if this shakeup brings a better marketing team, then I say hooray.  I never disliked either of those people, I hope they got a good severance package.  I've been in situations where all employees lost there job, and I have to say it isn't a very positive thing.

You can battle on wi fi at any level really, however there are 2 modes that can help u.  LVL 50 mode and LVL 100 mode, they up your pokemons base stats as if they were LVL 50 or 100.
