Mario Sunshine is far from a great game. IMO it is the worst 1st party game Nintendo has released this generation, possibly of all time.

As for what I said about Zelda being geered for children.

I mean that everytime you walk into a room they point out exactly what you need to do. Either someone is in the room to tell you or your stupid rocks starts flashing. This IMO took away all the excitment of trying to figure out what to do next. If this isnt done for children then who is done for? Does Nintendo think we are all that stupid?

I already have an X-box and a PS2, I had bought the Gamecube to play the Nintendo Classics like Mario and Zelda. However I found the new versions of these classics very boring, especially WW and Metroid, sunshine was just plain bad IMO.
So unless Nintendo makes a few original shooters, or vastly improves on its classics, I wont be back next gen.
As for GTA I would love to see it run on the cube.

Not one.

I am forced to sit a PC for 10-12 hours a day as a result of chosen profession.

So playing games on a PC have no appeal at all to me, besides I hate using a keyboard for anything, so playing with one would be a bad idea.

I prefer my couch and my big screen and FPS is my favorite style of game.

I know one thing is for sure. If nintendo doesnt start making more FPS or games in the style of GTA for example them this will be my last Nintendo console. Games like Zelda could have been so so great. The graphics were great, the game play great, the depth of the dungeons unmatched, however the game was clearly targeted at little kids. Everystep you made there was something telling you exactly what to do next. I know my brother in law has already said he will not but another Nintendo system.
I cant imagine we are the only 2 people who feel this way, this is a serious issue for the Big N because falling sales on a yearly basis are never a good thing.

there is nothing I hate worse than using a mouse and keyboard to play games. It is the main reason i dont own a single PC game.

I have no problem at all using a cube controller for FPS.

I played a round of golf with Phil Mickelson and Tom Lehman a few years ago.
I have also spoken to Chris Pronger on several occasions as he and my wife are old school friends.
Also once when getting groceries we saw Kim Bassinger in the store (she was in town filming a movie), we never approached her however.

The reason this is such a bad idea is simple. The people who want to play Nintendo games will buy a cube, people who dont want nintendo games wont. Putting cube games on another system may sell a few copies of the games, maybe an extra 10% but that IMO would be it. You would simply be marketing Nintendo games to the wrong market.

Star fox was just plain bad. I cant put my finger on it but I just couldnt stand it, and I have been a fan of a lot of Rares games. I also dont care that they are part of MS now, I will just play PD on my x-box.

Mario Kart will be the falls killer release, and Mario 128 if it follows more of a traditional Mario theme (anything but another sunshine), as for F-zero, I dont see it selling worth a hoot. Personally I cant stand the f-zero series, buts thats just me.
I think a great game a month isnt much to ask.

My wife is Pediatritian, and her brother is an optomotrist and they would both beg to differ.
As for communism, I remember voting every 4 years, so you may be a little off base.
We are very democratic. We are a little to liberal for my own taste and our government loves to sit on the fence but so be it.

I am very happy person in all honesty.

As for Golf, I am 2 handicap. Been trying for years to get it to 0 but just can get there yet.

As for games, I just have differant tastes than many of you. I play what I like regardless of what anyone says or thinks.

That could be why I am happy.

No offence but I prefer splinter cell to both WW and Metroid. IMO Timesplitters is better than all of them.

I will buy Splinter cell the day it is released for GC as I prefer the GC controller over the x-box one and I am curious to see what has been added.

As for the review score, I could care less. I play what I like regardless of what anyone thinks.

I have owned a gamecube since launch and all my favorite GC games are third party with the exception of Wave race. I have grown tired of Mario and Zelda, and these are games I use to love, games I grew up on.

I find myself playing my PS2 and X-box more and more these days, both systems have a lot of games that I prefer.
I really dont care how these games are percieved, I just enjoy them more than say Wind waker. Wind Waker was brilliantly done, it just isnt for me, I would rather play Halo or Vice city.

I am 32 years old, and only know 2or 3 people who still play games. I dont play games because they are cool, I dont buy things just because they are hip, I play and buy what I enjoy.

I am very very fortunate to have a comfortable lifestyle and to be able to afford all 3 systems, so I am able to get the best of 3 gaming worlds (I hate playing games on a PC so I dont include them), but I notice the exclusive games I most like for CG are the games many other Nintendo users dont like as much, games such as RE, RE0 and Wave Race.

I fail to understand why so many people see the need to rag on another system just because it isnt the one they prefer, it just seems so pointless. People have very differant tastes when it comes to games, and I really dont think anyone is right or wrong when they play something they enjoy.

I dont think it was anywhere near as good as OoT. OoT was epic, I found WW to be dull and very spoon fed.
Even though I am not a huge fan of it I found Metroid to be a much better game, same goes for ED, and as odd it may seem Wave Race (the best racing game on any console).
