Important Safety Recall
Replacement programs
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and other safety regulatory authorities, on May 14, 2009, HP announced worldwide safety recall and replacement programs for batteries used in certain HP notebooks. HP customers affected by these programs are eligible to receive a replacement battery for each verified, recalled battery, at no cost.
HP and the battery cell manufacturers believe that certain battery packs shipped in some notebook PC products may pose a potential safety hazard to customers. The batteries can overheat, posing a fire and burn hazard.

Well they haven't used it for evil yet.

See Mr. Jack gets it. The second you're anywhere near the Jersey Turnpike you best roll up the windows cuz you're in for a smelly ride. I remember having to drive my friend to PA and mapquest took us from the George Washingtong Bridge (NY) where it smelled like.. any other place in NY, and then to the Jersey Turnpike (..duh) where it smelled funny AND we got stuck in traffic.
I went to mexico a few years ago and we stayed in some of the more rural areas, so when we were on their long roads every few mins we'd drive be some open sewage drain/ditch and it smelled horrible. Thats what driving in to Jersey (From NY anyway) smells like. Its wretched.
Hey, don't judge New Jersey solely based off north jersey. The north is where we keep all the oil refineries/chemical plants/NY trash dumps. I live there for years and there's nothing wrong with me.
Me and stevey can never be real friends, if only because oil refineries/chemical plants/NY trash dumps come between us.
If your Wii was really as "dead" as you say it was, maybe the Wii's flash memory was was corrupted or something and couldn't be recovered. I have a feeling that Nintendo probably makes an effort to maintain the data of the Wiis sent back to them, but perhaps it just couldn't be saved in this case?
If that's the case, then it's somewhat understandable. However:
Since the break down of flash memory isn't something I can prevent - and there's no way the flash memory should have gone out with normal usage this quickly - I shouldn't have been charged the full $75.
Nope - it's mine. It pulled up my Wii Shop account and has some black scratches on the casing that has been there for almost as long as I've had it (remember them on there shortly after I got it and wondering how they got there...).
If I were to (somehow) copy your Brawl file onto my Wii, would I have your Brawl Friend Code?
Here's something odd. The Metroid Prime Preview Channel, the Wii Speak Channel and the Nintendo Channel that I had copied to my SD card will launch from my SD card - while nothing else will.
It leads me to believe that there's some kind of header-type thing attached to the various programs that tell them to only run on Wii X (or, in the case of these three, to run on any Wii.). How odd.
