11/21 9pm est is a good amount of time for me to comb through the posts and really analyze everyone. I'm not sure if I've ever been the detective in the game. Even if you don't officially have the role, it still feels like you are. But that would be fun if I was. I have really fond memories of my first game with the f-zero theme. It felt like a Cyberpunk detective novel. If only Cyberpunk 2077 was actually that engaging. That f-zero game also lasted for 11 days. I think I might binge-watch the rest of True Detective after this is over.
I also have to figure out how this harvest stuff works, because I have never played Harvest Moon. I was told it was like animal crossing with more farming. I do a lot of farming on stronghold kingdoms.

I know I started the no vote bandwagon in the game last time because I wasn't sure. But I don't see no voting as a thing in this game. The rules are always different in these things. I hate it when in some games if you don't vote then you get eliminated.
I should have voted out Mop_it_up in the last game given the ultimate results.
But, Considering how early I got eliminated in the last game I don't like the idea of voting out seasoned players on the first day over some crazy tradition. Since, the first day really doesn't matter I'm going to join Mop_it_up and un Vote Masb

Historically, Had they given it more thought, maybe it wouldn't be on Switch.
If I were to port the games over I wouldn't do anything, but upgrade the main characters models, upscaled the textures(using people , preferably a native English Speaker) and thats it. The games are ps2 games. They should run at 60 frames per second. I used to play GTA3 on my crappy for its time pc in high school and they ran fine at 800x600. I sideloaded GTA Vice City to my Ouya and it ran fine. Although, that was the terrible mobile version this one is supposed to be based off of.

I don't mind politics in shows and movies, but I don't like it when they write characters to be mouth-pieces for the writers. That's bad writing. A good rule of thumb for writing is "show down tell"

« on: October 19, 2021, 10:31:17 PM »Its the octagon the N64 controller had that helped. Modern controllers have a round circle you roll the stick around for movement. I used the those corners in the octagon to ensure I could line up shots and stay steady on narrow ledges.The classic controller pro for Wii has the octagon on the sticks. It's really a neat controller, though it is tethered to a wii-mote.
I did like the feel of that one.
