I hadnt heard that it was confirmed that there would be a metal gear solid movie, apparently he wants Viggo Mortenson to play snake...which blindsided me, because I could never figure out the right guy as Snake, but I think Kojima knows the character better than anyone..because I never thought about it and it would be perfect.

One day i was at a used store called bookmans. When i was there i saw all sorts of accesories, i saw gamecube component cables in a japanese box. 15 bucks. Bought it instantly. Work great, i plugged them up to my tv, and got a bit better color than the s-video cables(third party), but i have to play it interlaced...one day i will have a progressive scan tv.

alright imagine a game that is very similar to resident evil 4, except the game isn't scripted at all. Imagine that its multiplayer, you have a party of friends who all kickass. On the other side of the coin there is the environment and then there is a general who commands your enemies simular to how in a strategy game a computer commands the enemies. The game would become totally non-linear.

Playstation 3 exclusives, why is it that Sony gets the most exclusives. The only real point of an exclusive is so that companies can have their own individual portfolio of releases, but lets take for instance Virtual Fighter 5 on playstation 3..whats the point of making it exclusived if it does nothing to help the system anyways?

WorldCraft/Hammer
Back in the days of quake there was one editor that totaly rocked. WorldCraft. Later on it was updated and made so that it could be used on half-life instead, and now half-life 2. By putting together worlds made out of blocks with texures, you could build a whole world. I built so many worlds in the quake days and have dabbled recently in the hl days. Iv reconstructed my apartment and designed my future home.

the game ran at 640x480 and had tiles at like 32 by 32. All you had to do was set how big your grid was and then paint the tiles, then you could put characters and put an invisible overlay of event tiles which affected storyline, loaded videos, hanged worlds etc. It was damn cool

Legend of the Red Dragon 2 editor
legend of the red dragon was a MUD, but legend of the red dragon 2 was probably the first mmorpg. Lord2 had a nifty little editor that let you add your own sections to the empty parts of the world, or even rebuild the world to your own likes. It was very primitive graphically, but had an interesting scripting system that was very flexible.

you could pretty much make anyone although most of it was just texture overlay. Still i made the entire wcw roster

not as good as far as editing the way your character looks, but you had enormnous options for editing how their moves list was. In fact it was incredible what you could do.

Starcraft was just a beefier graphical version of warcraft 2 essentially..well really it had way more compexity as far as the charcter units go, but it was nice to build maps. I always lvoed warcraft 2 mapamking...id design the maps to be huge endevours. I made a few multiplayer maps, but i loved making single player maps. I'd trap a ghroup of ten peons in one place and the goal was to get out of where they were rather then create some war. I experimented on gameplay the most in this one.

I loved the level editor..and it was 3d...i made an enormous pyramid in the center, and again this editor was nice because I could make some incredable gameplay.

iit looks like Wii has good third party support already. Check out Ign's game profile section, it pretty much covers all confirmed games, and all rumored games. There are alot of them actually.
i counted 47, which is great

Capcom 3 (Suda Game, Inafune Game, Mikami Game(hasn't been announced but its coming))

In my opinion ever since Howard Lincoln and Minoru Arakawa left NOA things have really gone downhill for Nintendo of America. Now Nintendo is primarily a Japanese company, but as a worldwide company it SHOULD divide its power internationally. It is better business sense to do so.
lets look at the n64 era, sure there were no cds, but
Goldeneye, Banjo Kazooie, Turok series Exclusive, Rare was with the company, they were signing companies like Silicon Knights. Things were very good.
now it seems as though NOA is nothing more than a marketer and distributer, filled with nothing but YES-People and has no backbone of its own.
Why was Splinter Cell not exclusive? Prince of Persia? Why didn't they make bungie who they are? Why are Rare and SK gone?
The gamecube was filled with lots of exclusives, why is it that they sold poorly?
I remember the numbers of sales on n64, most games sold several millions and that was great. I was always like. Well when they switched to cds they will be so much more profitable. Well it didnt happen. THey stayed the same amount of profit(still more profitable then Sony). When in fact had they sold the same sales with the same profit they would have met inflation.

Ok here is the game; basically you make up a story. You take the person who posted above you and you make the story about you and them. Each post will have a different scenario and setup. It is ok to return with previous setups. This is an exercise in creative writing.
Ok. Since no one posted above me. I will use KnowsNothing because he kicks my ass in Mario kart (I had the most fun playing with him so far)
Scenario: Zombie attack
Note:
I have this friend who works at a Circle K. Since none of you know him. I will insert KnowsNothing in his place.
KnowsNothing, who is one of my very best friends works at the Circle K. One day I was really bored and I decided to visit him while he was on his shift. I went to buy a soda. He was like "that’s ok, however one day I will need a favor" This of course made us best friends. So, another day I went to the Circle K to get some free soda and some hotdogs (this is one of those early closing Circle Ks, hotdogs are thrown away at 8 and usually fed to bums). So I come in there and we start talking about all sorts of random things, every few minutes momentarily being interrupted by customers. We usually talk about things like what music we like, our favorite movies, politics, religion, and video games. Just things that are really fun to talk about.
So were there for about three hours talking when all of a sudden we hear some noise outside. At the gas pump there is someone pumping gas when all of a sudden some strange bum attacks them. This had to be the weirdest bums we ever saw (allot of bums hang out around convenience stores) He was really skinny. Skinnier then most bums (who ironically are fat allot of the time..all they do is drink and sit on their ass all day)
So anyways, this bum bit the ear off of the guy at the pump. He was just some college student. He runs in and yells "WHAT THE F@%K!! We immediately call the cops. The bum is still out there, but he hasn't came in the store. We were concerned.
At the same time we were really hungry. We decide to order some pizza. This place called Rocka-pizza. I ordered over the phone. I asked for one pizza that has pepperoni and mushroom. We were limited on funds at the time. Having only 14 dollars between us. Anyways we call them and it takes an hour for them to get to the store. The guy brings two pizzas. One mushroom and one pepperoni. We were like..."um...we only ordered one pizza". Either way we took the pepperoni pizza and paid the bill. So were enjoying the pizza when the pizza guy comes in again. He tells us he called his manager, and apparently they would just throw the pizza away when he returned back to the pizza place. He tells us because they messed up our order that the second pizza is on us. Which is totally kickass because they are some pretty good-sized pizzas. Were like kickass! We offer him a slice, but he declines and takes off.
So were enjoying our pizza and a few costumers come in. I continue to eat some pizza and KnowsNothing takes some customers. The police arrive, but the bum walked off. We told them what happened and they said we might have to appear at court if they find the bum. We were a little bummed being witnesses, because court can be so boring. The college student who had his ear bitten off, they said had gone to the hospital on his own, but they said he got strangely sick afterwards. They left and we both had our last slices of pizza.
We listen to some Zeppelin on the Radio and then KnowsNothing begins to mop. At this particular store there is security guard (Logan) who comes in around closing. He is pretty cool. He is around 40, but looks like he is in his 20s just because he's had such good conditioning for so many years. He has had a real depressing life lately. His wife left him, the kids not really his, he just got kicked out of his house by his roommates who bought it out from underneath him. Really crappy stuff. Nonetheless. He has some relationships with some pretty hot chicks, and it looks like things are moving forward with him. Every once in a while he, KnowsNothing and me go to bar and hang out. So we know him pretty well.
I was sitting on the counter, and in his cop voice (he's an ex cop) he's like "do you know your violating code 132 dash 24"...or something. It was pretty funny. So were sitting there and we are about to close. There are these two straggler customers. They come in even though we know we're going to close in like 5 minutes. Of course the only thing they probably want are one of three things. Beer, cigarettes, or lottery tickets. 3 vices here. Anyways were just chilling and then the bum walks in. He grabs one of the customers and drags him into the beer freezer. We are like WTF. Logan goes into the beer freezer slowly holding his gun up. Then the bum rushes towards him all crazy like. Logan shoots. We see the bum and he got shot in the head.
KnowsNothing and I look in the freezer and see what Logan saw just seconds before he shot. The customer who got pulled in the freezer has his arms ripped off and his face is missing. At about this time the radio cuts off and there is a message.
BEWARE; TONIGHT WE HAVE HAD REPORTS OF SEVERAL ATTACKS AND RIOTING. IF YOU SEE ANYBODY WHO IS ACTING UNUSUAL BE CAUTIOUS. STAY TUNED, MORE ALERTS WILL BE BROADCASTED. REMAIN WHERE YOU ARE. DO NOT GO OUTSIDE. WHEREVER YOU ARE, LOCK THE DOORS.
On the circle K there is a switch, it looks a lot like your normal light switch, but isn’t. Anyways. What it does is makes the metal gate go down, and thus locking us inside. When I visit KnowsNothing at work I usually stay till closing. I’ve seen the gate go down a few times. Sometimes when we know a few stragglers might come in last minute we close the gate just a little bit over the glass door so they get the idea that the Circle K is closed. Sometimes it doesn’t work and people bang on the door. Then we have to tell them that we are closed. Then they look at amazement at me when they see me sitting there with a Dr. Pepper eating a hotdog and laughing at it.
So we close the gate down so no on can come in. KnowsNothing says, “It seems as though we might be getting off a little later then usual tonight.” Logan was like “what was all of that about”. The other customer, who is a regular named Fred says “so I have to stay here for the rest of the night?”. Logan says, “well that all depends.” “we’ll have to listen to the radio” Fred, who is a stoner, and quite resembles a younger Bob Ross. He then looks in the freezer and says “oh”
This particular circle K is surprisingly well fortified. There is a window, but in front of the window is a mesh and some bars. So no one could break in. It’s made out of brick. We are quite safe where we are. Or so we think at the time.
UPDATE. WE RECEIVING MOREAND MORE REPORTS OF VIOLENCE TONIGHT. POLICE SAY A BEWILDERED HOMELESS PERSON ATTACKED A COLLEGE STUDENT AND BIT HIS EAR OFF. THE COLLEGE STUDENT REPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL BUT WITHIN 20 MINUTES OF ARRIVING BECAME VERY ILL. LATER HE GREW VIOLENT AND ATTACKED OTHER PATIENTS AND DOCTORS. POLICE BELIEVE THAT THE MASS VIOLENCE AND THIS SICKNESS ARE TIED TOGETHER.
So, I go to grab a soda from the fountain and gulp it up. It is pretty good. We a start discussion about what we should do with the bodies. We agree that they should be kept in the freezer for the time being.
An hour passes.
UPDATE, DOCTORS HAVE EXAMINED ONE OF THE VICTIMS OF THE SICKNESS.
Anyways, that’s all for now. Again you can continue this setup, or move onto another, but you have to create a tag-team story with the poster above.

So I come in there and we start talking about all sorts of random things, every few minutes momentarily being interrupted by customers. We usually talk about things like what music we like, our favorite movies, politics, religion, and video games. Just things that are really fun to talk about.
So were there for about three hours talking when all of a sudden we hear some noise outside. At the gas pump there is someone pumping gas when all of a sudden some strange bum attacks them. This had to be the weirdest bums we ever saw (allot of bums hang out around convenience stores) He was really skinny. Skinnier then most bums (who ironically are fat allot of the time..all they do is drink and sit on their ass all day)
So anyways, this bum bit the ear off of the guy at the pump. He was just some college student. He runs in and yells "WHAT THE F@%K!! We immediately call the cops. The bum is still out there, but he hasn't came in the store. We were concerned.
At the same time we were really hungry. We decide to order some pizza. This place called Rocka-pizza. I ordered over the phone. I asked for one pizza that has pepperoni and mushroom. We were limited on funds at the time. Having only 14 dollars between us. Anyways we call them and it takes an hour for them to get to the store. The guy brings two pizzas. One mushroom and one pepperoni. We were like..."um...we only ordered one pizza". Either way we took the pepperoni pizza and paid the bill. So were enjoying the pizza when the pizza guy comes in again. He tells us he called his manager, and apparently they would just throw the pizza away when he returned back to the pizza place. He tells us because they messed up our order that the second pizza is on us. Which is totally kickass because they are some pretty good-sized pizzas. Were like kickass! We offer him a slice, but he declines and takes off.
So were enjoying our pizza and a few costumers come in. I continue to eat some pizza and KnowsNothing takes some customers. The police arrive, but the bum walked off. We told them what happened and they said we might have to appear at court if they find the bum. We were a little bummed being witnesses, because court can be so boring. The college student who had his ear bitten off, they said had gone to the hospital on his own, but they said he got strangely sick afterwards. They left and we both had our last slices of pizza.
We listen to some Zeppelin on the Radio and then KnowsNothing begins to mop. At this particular store there is security guard (Logan) who comes in around closing. He is pretty cool. He is around 40, but looks like he is in his 20s just because he's had such good conditioning for so many years. He has had a real depressing life lately. His wife left him, the kids not really his, he just got kicked out of his house by his roommates who bought it out from underneath him. Really crappy stuff. Nonetheless. He has some relationships with some pretty hot chicks, and it looks like things are moving forward with him. Every once in a while he, KnowsNothing and me go to bar and hang out. So we know him pretty well.
I was sitting on the counter, and in his cop voice (he's an ex cop) he's like "do you know your violating code 132 dash 24"...or something. It was pretty funny. So were sitting there and we are about to close. There are these two straggler customers. They come in even though we know we're going to close in like 5 minutes. Of course the only thing they probably want are one of three things. Beer, cigarettes, or lottery tickets. 3 vices here. Anyways were just chilling and then the bum walks in. He grabs one of the customers and drags him into the beer freezer. We are like WTF. Logan goes into the beer freezer slowly holding his gun up. Then the bum rushes towards him all crazy like. Logan shoots. We see the bum and he got shot in the head.
KnowsNothing and I look in the freezer and see what Logan saw just seconds before he shot. The customer who got pulled in the freezer has his arms ripped off and his face is missing. At about this time the radio cuts off and there is a message.
BEWARE; TONIGHT WE HAVE HAD REPORTS OF SEVERAL ATTACKS AND RIOTING. IF YOU SEE ANYBODY WHO IS ACTING UNUSUAL BE CAUTIOUS. STAY TUNED, MORE ALERTS WILL BE BROADCASTED. REMAIN WHERE YOU ARE. DO NOT GO OUTSIDE. WHEREVER YOU ARE, LOCK THE DOORS.
On the circle K there is a switch, it looks a lot like your normal light switch, but isn’t. Anyways. What it does is makes the metal gate go down, and thus locking us inside. When I visit KnowsNothing at work I usually stay till closing. I’ve seen the gate go down a few times. Sometimes when we know a few stragglers might come in last minute we close the gate just a little bit over the glass door so they get the idea that the Circle K is closed. Sometimes it doesn’t work and people bang on the door. Then we have to tell them that we are closed. Then they look at amazement at me when they see me sitting there with a Dr. Pepper eating a hotdog and laughing at it.
So we close the gate down so no on can come in. KnowsNothing says, “It seems as though we might be getting off a little later then usual tonight.” Logan was like “what was all of that about”. The other customer, who is a regular named Fred says “so I have to stay here for the rest of the night?”. Logan says, “well that all depends.” “we’ll have to listen to the radio” Fred, who is a stoner, and quite resembles a younger Bob Ross. He then looks in the freezer and says “oh”
This particular circle K is surprisingly well fortified. There is a window, but in front of the window is a mesh and some bars. So no one could break in. It’s made out of brick. We are quite safe where we are. Or so we think at the time.
UPDATE. WE RECEIVING MOREAND MORE REPORTS OF VIOLENCE TONIGHT. POLICE SAY A BEWILDERED HOMELESS PERSON ATTACKED A COLLEGE STUDENT AND BIT HIS EAR OFF. THE COLLEGE STUDENT REPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL BUT WITHIN 20 MINUTES OF ARRIVING BECAME VERY ILL. LATER HE GREW VIOLENT AND ATTACKED OTHER PATIENTS AND DOCTORS. POLICE BELIEVE THAT THE MASS VIOLENCE AND THIS SICKNESS ARE TIED TOGETHER.
So, I go to grab a soda from the fountain and gulp it up. It is pretty good. We a start discussion about what we should do with the bodies. We agree that they should be kept in the freezer for the time being.
An hour passes.
UPDATE, DOCTORS HAVE EXAMINED ONE OF THE VICTIMS OF THE SICKNESS.
