Back when I was 9-14 I was a RABID fan of the Goosebumps series, I have all 64 books of the original series. Anyway, a couple of years ago I started keeping them off my shelf, and storing them in an air tight plastic bin..that way they wouldn't further deteriorate. No i feel slightly remorseful, because i can see my finger prints on like every page. I hadn't read them in some years, and its gotten to the extent i barely remember the plot lines. Sop, reading them is quite entertaining. I was checking out wikipedia and it looks liek their going to make a REAL movie on Goosebumps, totally disregarding those shiitty TV shows and TV movies. They haven't found a writer apparently, which interests me. I think if the right budget was dedicated they could make a really good horror movie. Anybody else liked Goosebump books, or am I just old?

i mentioned in the iron man thread how i would write the metroid movie, but for Zelda i would pretty much follow ocarina of time. The movie would start off during a war, Ganondorf would be the focus, the first couple of minutes ends with a women fleeing into the forest while her husband is savagely murdered by secret foreign forces. The movie would then follow into Link waking up as a stranger enters the forest. The stranger is ganondorf much older, going to talk to the great deku. The thing i would change is the 7 year imprisonment. Instead i'd make it so that he is sent to Death mountain to work as slave labor with the gorons. There he trains and becomes great for 7 years. You know one of the jokes in zelda was that link never talks, and people wondfer how that would be done, you know...Schwarzenegger didn't talk much playing Conan. I would establish link as a mute though.

I bought a Tosa Charger stand, it came out of the box broken, the contact prongs are made out of flimsy paper clip looking crap, everything else about the charger is cool, but only one of the chargers worked. 've been looking into setting up a media center server to access via the dick.
difficulty: i don't have a single windows computer at my house, and don't plan on it.
(so that rules out orb, which looks great)
anyone got any ideas? anyone have anything set up? i'd prefer a linux solution, but can do a mac one as well.

Until dick supports more file formats I would just not bother. You can get wireless media centre that would do what you want for not really expenisve but much better. I can't recall any that are really cheap but I have seen some that are around $200-$250. If you shop around you may be able to find some that are discountined and cheaper. D-Link makes some good wireless media centres that are some of the cheapest. If you are really looking to just get dick up and running as a media center than http://www.redkawa.com/mediacenters/dickmediacenterx/ would work with a form of Unix(unix,Mac OS or Linux). Never tried it myself.

You know at that price you could get a 360 or PS3 for a little extra. I would suggest the PS3 because it supports a wider variety of formats if memory serves. That and I have one and don't have much of a problem with it when it comes to streaming and playing movies. Streaming to the dick would be cool just to be able to do it but it doesn't really bring as much to the tables as the other 2 in that regard.

With all the information on Brawl Sakurai has been made famous, I remember hearing his name maybe 3 times during the creation of Melee and that was just enough to forget it, but i have heard his name mentioned a gazillion times during the hype for brawl. Pretty much to Miyamoto proportions. Sakurai is the director, he didn't make the entire game. It is ridiculous how much flack he's getting. Also, for that matter credit.

I didn't expect there to be a level editor, that totally surprised me.
If you could put a feature in the game what would it be?
I'd put a character editor. If your favorite character doesn't make it in the game than make it in the game. N64 wrestling games had this. You could design your characters, assign preset move sets, or create all new moves.
Mii as playable. Looking at the Icons Screen I saw that you could use your Mii as an Icon in the game, than i thought "what if you could play with a mii?"
It's not like Miis aren't playable in other games. I suggested paint your own projectile, everyone said it was stupid. Chile boy said the mii attacks with Wiimote. Great idea. Still if i were in mk id want to shoot fireballs at people...or tomatoes
