Nintendo Gaming / RE:official Naruto 3 is awesome thread

Damn - I always thought that if you weren't skilled at a game you play more and get better/adjust to it, especially for an awesomely fun game.

So much for that.

GoodRPGs = sales. It's always like that, and the Rev desperately needs an astounding RPG or two @ launch

Wow, those screens are viewtiful..

Sorry, couldn't resist, although I admit it's the worst joke to grace these forums in a while

I heard that the face buttons or the D Pad (depending on which hand you're using the stylus for) would be used for Duck, reload and others (forgot what)

Is this true?

There are many good (and new) games on offer online but I don't think they ship them to the UK

Well, they tried that whole "NBA Courtside" thing, and I know they've made other sports games in the past.

I heard somewhere that Rogue Agent DS would have the same default controls as Metroit HUnters - can anyone confirm this?

"I don't know if I want another one... and have that bog down again."

It won't. And you have a warranty. And a new Gamecube is as much as a new game and two Big Mac meals. Just do us a favour and buy it please.

Nintendo Gaming / RE:Legend of Zelda: 2005 Official Discussion

Something that connects the new Zelda to the Rev would be great - especially with it being released so late in the Cube cycle, and it being so anticipated and such..

As previously suggested, if you put your Zelda game into the Rev and get extras/unlockables, that would be nice, but there should be something else. Something that really adds to the playability...not sure what, but it would be nice wouldn't it?

Wow - bad luck there. I'm sure that your Gamecube is among the minority. However, if it packed up after a year, couldn't you have used your warranty? Anyway, please do yourself a favour and pick up a new Gamecube. It's astoudingly cheap. Why, the other day, I saw a NEW Gamecube for $89.99 CDN (which is about $73 US because of the low conversion rate). Please, you won't regret it

I think Tales has sold more than 300k in North America, and about 375kin Japan - not bad - but not sure about Europe numbers

EDIT: Mario beat me to it - wow we nearly said the exact same thing

The graphics are nice, but if they were on the Rev, the lighting would have to be improved quite a bit - it was too dark.

This is true. Traditional fighters make you memorize too many moves, and once you have, it's ALOT easier. But in Smash, you have to be quick, you have to be cunning, and it's a whole DIFFERENT type of depth

Oh and speaking of piracy, I believe that there's a Gamecube mod chip now.

They're probably just tired of Resident Evil at the moment - if they wait a while until releasing the next one, it will sell better

Nintendo Gaming / RE:My Fifa is great but...
« on: April 06, 2005, 01:06:27 PM »
Actually, I was just playing this game with my friends yesterday

Yes, the corners are tough, but there is a trick to it. You choose "Driven" then press the button of the person that is closest to the goal. Then, you try to gain position on the defender by pressing back and keeping on tapping B. If you push him back enough, you will have great position and will be able to head it in.

I agree. I really don't know why people are still discussing it when Iwata explicitly said "no touchscreen"
